I went to my local Walmart today, the same one that I scored all the wave 3.5 I wanted a mere 1 week ago and everything that they had that was joe related was in the clearance isle 5 bucks for the figures 10 for the motorcycles. All they had was wave 1 and 2 stuff. But it's lookin like the retaliation waves have broke on the beach and rolled back out to sea.
I'm cool with that it's seems like I've been hunting joes since 2010 and frankly I need a break. I'm tierd of benig the guy that all the TRU employees know cause ive been going twice a week on shipping days. Anyone else ok with a little break? |

I had a similar experience this morning, I was walking through my Wal-Mart and the person in charge of the toy department was going through and changing the setup. I asked her what was happening to the joes and she scanned one and said they were being marked down and deleted. It was all wave 1 leftovers from the beginning of the year, but it's not looking like I'll have a non-Walgreens source for these figures at retail for a while in my town.

Yes, long break. I been going at this since Summer 2007....a hiatus is definitely in order...and now is a better time then ever, let them round up the wagons, fire a few execs and move on to the 55th anni...that would be a nice long break lol..

I don't think it's all walmarts. Mine just did their big reset and gi joe figures still have 3 pegs, motorcycles have 1. They have moved out the vehicles though.

Ive decided that the few store around me that I thought was gonna keep joes on the shelf have done a minor update to the new set. They are all gone! 5 bucks and tossed on the junk isle. Walgreens and tru will be seeing me a little more.

I'm good for a break. I've been buying some other stuff lately anyway, so it's all good.
Most of the walmarts near me don't carry Joes anymore anyway.

First of all, a Walmart with product on clearance that's not the regular price on a red tag? I don't believe it.
What break? We had plenty of gaps with no new Joe products. Sept 2012 to Feb 2013, Jan 2012 to May 2012. And let's not forget other years when there's nothing new after the Holiday Season until July, with Hasbro's yearly reboot. I just think it's hilarious that some need a break, yet still complain when two waves are release a month apart. Oh well, it's the internet, all we do is complain. The only break I'm getting is that I don't have to waste time with Walmart and Target. Just have to check my mail box for six months with the upcoming GIJCC FSS 2.0 starting this month.
