The Fang that Ultimate CC comes with is pretty sweet. Love that it has the button to turn the rotors. BUT...
... whats with the Claw pack? Why does its button spin the figure around?? Surely this thing wouldnt spin around on someone's back. I dont know MUCH about aerodynamics, but... it just baffles me. Am I missing something?

It's a "play feature" to make SS do some kind of stupid windmill kick.
I think both packs are a waste of plastic, honestly. The rotor action on CC's pack is he stupidest blade spinning feature I've ever seen. You press the button and it spins so fast that you can barely even see it move and then it stops just as suddenly. And you can't even flick it with your finger to spin it, because of that immediate stoppage. Dumb dumb dumb. |

I would like more of the Fang packs from CC if people are hating on them and just tossing them in a parts bin. The spinning IS bad, but they look pretty sweet on a figure. Anyone want to get rid of theirs, pm me.
I can do without Claws though!

Would have been cool if they would have made it so it could be twisted around by finger until it couldn't anymore, then by pressing the button you get a nice built up spin out of it. Otherwise it is only an okay knock at an old joe toy.
The SS jetpack is just junky looking, oh well, at least the figure has pretty much all the parts the renegades one, makes this figure awesome. This SS is a another necessity I was glad to preorder. |

That Fang is an interesting accessory... the one thing I did like about it was the little hidden button that opens the rear compartment to drop the concussion bombs on your enemy.

Yeah- the "CLAW" backpack enables your figures to do cartwheels. *rolls eyes*
GIJoe always makes you think it's on the right path as far as accessories go: The "Cobra blue" launcher and flag that comes with the CCN is awesome, Flint's brick logo chute is awesome, Duke's and DV's UAVs are great, even the FANG pack is cool. Pretty soon we might start getting simple stuff like weapons crates, ammo boxes, and folding chairs packaged with troop builders. If we still get figures at all...

It's a gimmick designed to appeal to the children who will never even have an opportunity to buy the figures.
