I know there was a thread about Retaliation Cobra Commander's neck joint breaking off. Who knows how to fix that problem. I just bought one from Tuesday Morning and I tried loosening his head but it was stuck on there really good. Then the neck joint broke. :(

The boil and pop/hot water method was sugguested to loosen it, but if its broke, then drill a hole down into the neck and up into the head ball joint in the same area and then put in a metal dowel of a fitting diameter and then superglue it. Then with the boil/pop you should be able to get it off once it dries and then slightly sand it down maybe to help it on and off. Or just buy two and keep one hooded and one mirror masked like me.

Superglue seems to have done the trick. After letting it set overnight it was strong enough I was even able to (gently!!) swap heads. Should be good now.
However, I ran into another stupid issue...the BAT's pistol is painted dark grey, not cast in that color, and some of the paint came off when I took it out of the holster. Not a big deal since I won't have any reason normally to take the pistol out, but still another annoying QC problem. Overall, however, now that the neck is fixed, I really dig the figure! The Arctic BAT is very cool (cool, arctic, GET IT?!?).

I moved a few months ago and have been slowly setting up my toy rooms. Today I started to set up the shelf where my modern era Cobra Eels will go and as I started messing with the 50th eels for the first time I keep having their backpack pegs break off in their backs. I have about a dozen 50th Eels and so far this has happened to 4 out of the 7 I have messed with. Is this a known issue?
Just wanted to see if this is a common problem and if anyone has any suggestions on the best ways to both fix and avoid. Thus far this has only happened with my gray TRU Eels and fortunately it has yet to happen to my black SDCC Eels.

I just got two of the 50th anniversary eels and one was fine and one broke off in the back. It was almost like they glued the tab into the eel.

All this is disappointing. 90% of my 50th figures are still in the package since I'm working on dios to place them all in. I'll have to be careful with the heads and backpacks I guess.
