I had the same issues with one of retaliation CG's, the backpack pegs just snapped while removing it. However, with the hot and cold method and tweezers, i was able to remove the peg. I plan to either use a stick pin or paperclip and heat it up and push it through the peg into the BP and I hope this should act as a Rebar if you will. I'm willing to try anything to keep this set and fix the Eel. I don't want to waste gas running back and forth trying to find a complete set with a non -broken Eel. |

Bought an Arctic BAT off of a fellow Tanker and the second I (gently) tried turning its head the NECK PEG SNAPPED THE FUCK OFF. WTF.
Seriously, how crap is the quality control in this wave? How cheap is the plastic? And the worst part is that I really can't afford to replace this right now...however, I do have a carded Retaliation Night Viper or Combat Ninja to trade for another Arctic BAT, provided you can confirm that the head can turn and/or pop off so I can swap it with the alternate head. Anyone, please help!

I had a similar experience with a 50th Leatherneck. His right hand sheared off at the peg as i was taking him out of the package for the first time. Luckily, I was still in the TRU parking lot, checking out my new purchase in the car. I walked right back into the store and exchanged it for a new one. The quality of plastic for this series is just terrible. Even the Retaliation and Dollar General figures seemed so much better.

Superglue seems to have done the trick. After letting it set overnight it was strong enough I was even able to (gently!!) swap heads. Should be good now.
However, I ran into another stupid issue...the BAT's pistol is painted dark grey, not cast in that color, and some of the paint came off when I took it out of the holster. Not a big deal since I won't have any reason normally to take the pistol out, but still another annoying QC problem. Overall, however, now that the neck is fixed, I really dig the figure! The Arctic BAT is very cool (cool, arctic, GET IT?!?).

Just don't get carried away, and lose your head over them. (Sorry, I couldn't resist )
