I've opened well over a dozen danger at the docks sets, and the only defect I've seen so far is flint missing the holster on his left leg,and that was brought to my attention after the fact. That's well over a dozen sets! that could've fell off any time too, could've been in the box,or never put in back in china? |

You can buy this adhesive called "Sticky Tack", typically people use it to adhere posters and such to walls. Take a tiny bit, ball it up and drop it in the wrist socket. If it's still a bit too loose, ball up a bit more until you get it where you want it. Works good for loose heads as well... looking at you Ninja Dojo Roadblock.

I bought an Eagle's Edge 3 pack and Leatherneck's right hand was stuck. When I used a bit of pressure to loosen it, the hand suddenly loosened to the point that it is barely hanging onto the wrist joint.
What would you do in my position? Try to return it or fix it? If you would opt to fix it, what do you think the best way to do it would be.

Ok, here's my story, I recently just got my first DATD set and its complete, everything is there from what I can tell, just one problem: Eel's backpack peg broken!! I want to know if any to fix this without returning the whole set? After removing all the Eel's accessories, his head and shoulder/neck piece there is a good amount of peg material sticking out, but not enough to get a grip on it. Should I try the hot and cold method? I thought of taking a paperclip and heating the tip and see if I could push it through the peg material and let it cool down and then tried to remove it that way. I hate to return this set, and since it was the only one and not missing anything, I'd rather try to fix it the Eel and keep the whole set.
Any ideas? |

I would use a "smaller-than-the-peg" drill bit and manually drill into the broken peg and carefully pull it out.

I've never had to do it... so I cannot guarantee it will work... but if that happened to me, that's what I'd try.

I've had two instances now where a figure's left hand just fell off right out of the packaging. I didn't make an issue of it with TRU at the time -- I was using them for custom fodder anyway -- but it does concern me that there could be deeper issues. In both cases they were hands that were holding onto a weapon in an awkward way in the packing. Anyone else having this issue?
