I find it best to not disturb then in their natural habitat either a box or behind a bubble. They seem really delicate these days and I doubt they would have survived the abuse my 80's era figures survived (poor SE v1 lost an arm in a Skystriker ejection seat accident in 1984 when he fell out of the seat and struck the sidewalk). These figures, I am afraid to submerge in water yet alone with a AA battery rubber-banded to their back as a SCUBA tank in my cousins swimming pool.

The vice trick no longer works that well on most of the newer figures. You'll ruin anything DG second wave or newer,at least I will they just smoosh, deform, and are ruined. I cut mine open with a hobby knife. Idk how these guys open up ultimate flint, joe troopers,or any of the figures that have the shocktrooper torso with the collar? They glued the shit out of them! Although I have one Mouse figure that his entire neck comes out when I try to pop his head off ..I guess they missed one? lol. |

Ok so I just opened a 50th night viper and the plastic on his left hand is so soft he can't hold anything. Anyone else having this problem?
Also the scope on lowlights gun just won't stay attached to the gun. Fits the leg holster fine. Side note where does the fire extinguisher hose attach from blowtorch? Also where is everyone attaching the grey hose from the heat viper? |

Actually, I found that the Retaliation Night Viper could barely hold his sniper gun at all...with the 50th NV's slightly softer hands, for some reason it's easier to get him to hold the gun now, lol.
As for HEAT Viper, his hose is supposed to connect to one of the peg thingys on his backpack, but I modded his head with a peg to it plugs in there like the old-school figure. I also touched up the missing purple paint and added the black rubber hose that the original had also (it attached to the knob on the front of his rocket launcher and connects to his backpack). He looks pretty awesome now.

I have ten 50th Night Vipers. ALL of them have paint issues with their helmets! 7 out of 10 have bent scopes on their helmets as well . instead of being a perfectly fitting little work of art they're mushy soft rubbery bullshit! 1 figure has a malformed back hole, and a backpack won't stay in,just falls out. All of their eyes look fine,at least on mine...as for the hands they're soft, but no more soft then ultimate duke's from the retaliation line. They hold their assault rifle fine IMO. The color is killing these guys! I preordered them when they where shown black with red highlights, not the other way around! They look like shit IMO! I passed on the retaliation crimson guards, because their color. In comparison these guys are probably worse! There was a lot of talk that "I'll just wait&get a 50th night viper" well,..the retaliation night viper is a nice figure. The 50th version is junk! just a shadow of a quality figure IMO. If you never got a night viper(which I think everyone has by now)and opted to wait for this version?you should buy the retaliation version, and pass on the red one! I'd recommend getting the retaliation version while the getting is good! Right now they're cheap&plentiful online! I'm sure it won't stay that way for long, and ebay will be crowded with these abortions for years to come!! As for lowlight?...I sold them ALL within 48 hours on ebay ,so idk...shipped them all in their trays for all the hate going on for this line, people are sure buying the shit out of them! For me,WORST LINE OUT OF MY TIME IN THIS HOBBY! Keep it up hasbro!! Your going to save me a shit ton of money, because I won't be buying anything else till you get your act together!

Never said that....I'm willing to pay $15-$20 per figure for POC quality. I'm ok with paying for quality. I'm not ok with paying any price for junk. I'll post up pics tonight...hasbro should be ashamed of themselves. |

My suggestion to you would be start a brick and mortar store, or an online store, contact Hasbro and commit to buy around 10,000 pieces per figure of a line of Joe figures at $10 wholesale price (a $100,000 commitment on your part per figure) and then Hasbro may make it. Otherwise Hasbro will continue to work sensibly within the framework and retail price point of the retailers that buy the figures. |
