Would the new Data-Viper replace the Tele-Viper in Cobra ranks?

With this new figure coming out sometime in the near future (Hopefully) and seeing his main function or role for Cobra would a walking hot spot for controlling and managing data, a human Soundwave if you will. I thought all my years of watching Joe cartoons and some of the comics; I thought Tele-Viper was like this Data-Viper? I remember seeing him at the console in the Terror Drome or any Cobra vehicle watching CCTV and or at the computer gathering data for Cobra?

Any thoughts or feedback is welcome on this topic?

Nope. I treat TVs like Cobra's equivalent of an RTO. Data Vipers are serve a whole different function.

I always used the tele-vipers like that as a kid. They were the eyes and ears. They worked the computers or was in the field and reported back the battle as it was happening with their camera. I look at it like it is a update or modernization of the old tele-viper corps. Kind of like how the Army Signal Corps upgraded from signal flags to radios and now to the digital age. I don't know for sure if they would completely replace the tele-viper. I can see the TV's role changing. Still back at base or in vehicles working communications, radar stations and computers in general but not so much on the front line with the Troops anymore. That is where the data-viper would completely replace them I think. Especially since the data-viper has an offensive capability.

I think they are kinda similar. I mean I really just have Tele vipers located manning computers in Cobra HQ. So DV's will be sort of ground troop versions of Tele Vipers!

I think the Data-Vipers would be on the ground and the Tele-Vipers would be at the Cobra bases as the IT guys and radio.
