Jokes aside though, I know a lot of people who don't bring their phone for shopping, and people tend to be so tech unsavvy, they don't change their phone browser from that piece of shit Ad spammer Google Calls Chrome to FireFox with U block Origin for Youtube watching.

I don't know what Walmart management is smoking except they wanted to save money while losing even more money longterm like corporate Dilbert boss again.

I wonder if Hasbro can use special tape on their packaging. Like tape with the Hasbro logo on it. That way it's easier to tell if it has been opened. Maybe we can suggest this to them if they are sticking with windowless packaging.

I personally hated having to download the Walmart app but now I'm actually liking it. Mainly because when I've been having to find an item, that even a Walmart employee couldn't help me find, the app shows the EXACT location of that item. My daughter, while pregnant, was wanting an herbal raspberry tea. So naturally, I looked in the aisle with the teas. Couldn't find it. I found an employee and she couldn't find it. She also didn't have her phone or device to search for it. So I said, Well I do have the app. So I searched it. It was in the baby section. It even has a map layout with the shelves showing the exact location on the shelf. That was very convenient.

So they removed them because of the price of the scanner? I figured at least here it was because those things got robbed blind, either from the riots that engulfed many Walmarts here or people flat out stealing them right IN Walmart during the day.

I'd bet the real reason is that when people checked the price, they'd see how expensive it was and set it down right there on the endcap. If you make it all the way up to the checkout with the item, you're more likely to buy it.

Target is funny with that. I check mine, see the $28.99 Marvel Legends price tag, and the scanner says $22.99, and I take a picture of it and show them at the register and get them for $22.99. Target killing themselves here with their fake inflated prices on Legends and Star Wars ONLY, LOL.

Yes, that no price scanner in Walmart is bullshit. It's too expensive? Bull. Target and Kohl's have them around every corner. It actually causes me to buy less while I'm in there. It also has me bothering their staff more to look stuff up.



My location has also started locking the back door at 5 PM. Sometimes they'll even lock up 2 entrances, without any notice. So then they have dozens of customers walking up to locked doors, then having to get back in their cars and drive to the other side of the building. We're like cattle being herded.

I like that they say it's a Win-win because we get "better service"- for something we're doing ourselves.

Walmart is admitting that we provide better service to ourselves than they do- factor in the self checkout and those mother fuckers owe me a pay check
