That sucks, if I were you I'd wait until I found another, then return it. Had that happen to the Skystriker I bought, had two left wings, returned it, but they were out and I had to wait a while before they were in stock to buy again.

Pros:
-It's a brand new Tomahawk! Duh. -Upgraded cockpit -Holes for backpacks -Folding rotor blades -Hinged engine covers -Dual hinged side guns -Better construction, parts will pop off instead of break Cons -Footpegs are nearly useless where they are located -No back pegs on seats -Dark blue canopy, can hardly see the pilots inside -Loss of removable engine panels in the front and back compared to the original -No glass in the floor of the cockpit (Of course, the upgraded cockpit blocks this anyway) The pros still outweigh the cons for sure. This is a fantastic toy at a reasonable price point. Highly recommended. |

Why not just wait for a loose one on ebay? No sense in going through all that trouble for a missile. Those missiles had to be the same from the original mold.

I got mine from smalljoes on Friday. I was putting stickers on it last night, and left the room, and when I came back in I saw it and I was like, "Dang! It's just like 1986!" It's so great to have an updated version. It's hard to believe that it's a new mold, because it looks just like my vintage tomahawk.
There are a few drawbacks, though: --- my rotor blades are already drooping after having it put together for only 4 days. I guess that's not terrible since real helos have droopy rotors blades --- there is a little wobble to the rotors, especially the front one, but I'm going to display it only, so it's not too big of a deal --- I don't mind the painted on footwells. It'd have been more cool if they were clear plastic, but I don't mind it too much --- the positioning if the side guns seems awkward --- not 100% sure I like the winch knob on the side, but it's not a deal breaker --- the biggest drawback for me is the seats. It'd been so much better if they were removable. But I can't complain much, because overall I love it.

Haven't put mine together yet since I noticed my LIFT-TICKET HAS THE WORST PAINT JOB HEAD EVER! Looks like Chris Farley from Dirty Work with his nose bitten off?!

Ok, you guys were right , I never really doubted you anyway
I got my Eaglehawk today in the mail (thank you BBTS for saving me aggravation, time and gas, it was ALL well worth it in the end!!!) and I have to admit it's pretty sweet. Again, never having had one or even seen one as a kid or since I had NO idea what to expect. I'd say it's on the level of a Skystriker or even a WHALE (both of which I did and DO have again now). I'd always been a fan of the Dragonfly (and have two again now but this is a lot more and I can now see the love for it and why. Thanks again for talking me into it, I knew ya' would in the end. Now should I buy a 10mm Glock 20 or not?..............................

Has anybody been able to get lift ticket to hold the steering mechanism while still in his seat? It is so far away from the chair I can't get him to hold and maintain a normal pose.
I bet if a caster could fix this by making a longer handle, a lot would be sold considering that there are 2 per copter. I would buy 4 for mine. Also can anybody show a pic of joes seated and holding or t least mixing the guns? It's mega frustrating that they were placed in a way that makes it hard to sit and fire, never mind that there is no space to stand and fire. Pics would help. Thanks! |
