Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the only time Hasbro changes DCPI's is when they have a change in the packaging. For example, the DCPI changed when they went from PoC to 30th, but not from PoC wave 1 to PoC wave 2, 3, or 4.

I suppose it is possible that the wave 3.5 has new packaging that is more in line with the Eaglehawk's packaging, dropping the Retaliation tie in, but if that were the case, then I would have expected them to drop the actor likenesses too. Seeing as though the figures Viper Kingdom has are taken from actual packages, this just doesn't seem likely to me.

Yeah I am not really all that worried that Target is not going to carry the next wave, too many doomsdayers here, c'mon let look at the bright side of this, clearing out to make room nad hell the clearing out means cheaper custom fodder...

Not every store is clearing out the figures. I've been by 3 today while out and it was only the motorcycles and delta vehicles getting dumped. The Eaglehawk will take the Delta slot, the Night Landing will take the motorcycle slot.

Hasbro does not make DCPI #'s, that's a Target thing.

As far as Target having different DCPI #'s for the same packaging goes it occurred once before during ROC. Remember the Collection 1 and Collection 2 figures? They had two separate DCPI #'s.

Oh and as far as the clearance goes I also believe that this might kill any chance of seeing any new waves of single carded Joes at Target, and possibly any of the other big brick & mortar chains as well.

This always happens with the last few waves of many movie lines when the stores get sick and tired of the older waves just sitting there peg warming. They want to make room for new movie toys that will peg warm as well like the new Wolverine and Thor lines.

As always I blame Hasbro for not putting the movie accurate figures out right away. Wave 1 was an entire waste and ruined everything.

The least they could do now is to offer the "Ultimate" figures online at HTS.
