I wanted to start a spot where I could post my requests for Hasbro since we cannot put requests in the Q&As any more. Feel free to add your own. Hasbro does read our boards occasionally, so we may get lucky!
1st up. Then and Now/Past and Present sets. Great idea. And this is something that can easily continue whenever they feel like throwing us a curve-ball. I'd like to see a Storm Shadow TaN/PnP set. Perfect as an exclusive 2-pack that can be packaged like the Star Wars Arena sets that are out now. Possibly 3 sets could be sone at once. Use the 25th/vintage package design for the o-ring figure, and the POC style for the new style figure. For the "then" Storm Shadow, the vintage V3 would be perfect for this set. Hasbro has re-used the mold a few times, but the black and white outfit hasn't been re-done yet (to my knowledge). I recommend they remove the action feature guts and make sure SS has the rubber forearm/hands so the thumbs don't break. With the 25th style "now" SS, they could easily re-use many parts from existing figures. Such as: Head - Comic pack maroon/V2 head Torso - all new (upper and lower) Upper Arms - any V1 Cobra Commander or Dusty Lower Arms - Dusty Hands - Resolute Cobra Trooper (need good hands that can hold stuff) Upper Legs - Hard Master ? (I say this based on the leg attachments) Knees - V1 SS Lower Legs - v1 SS Feet - any previous SS Now Hasbro could "cheat" and re-use the standard SS torso while adding a new harness/web gear/vest or whatever you want to call it. Probably sculpting the shoulder pads with belts attaching the knife and gold clips on his chest. It might even be possible to make the shoulder pads as a backpack. Nah. The attachment on the upper left leg could be changed to hold a knife like the vinty figure. Heck, sculpting new lower legs and feet would be cool though.

As a second Past and Present set, I'd like to see Grunt re-done so we can get him again. Make the 1982 Grunt (with rubber hands again) and re-release the SRO Grunt (minus the 5 O'clock shadow would be fine) so those who missed him could get him.
As a thrid set, I think a Cobra character is necessary. I gotta say using Serpentor in this slot would be a great idea. Use the best of the molds from the 25th line (mainly the DVD pack #3) and re-color and re-paint him to match the vintage figure. I really think this would be a great way for us to get awesome re-releases of vintage figures that break, are hard to find, and are iconic to us collectors. Having a nice vintage Grunt in your collection is fine, but I don't think too many collectors would play with him for fear of broken crotches and thumbs (same goes for v3 Storm Shadow's O-ring). Also, we get a new figure we didn't have yet, a re-release of a figure that is hard to find, and a definitive version of a figure most of us really wanted. Hasbro... are you reading this thread?

Now to finish up my idea for Past and Present figure 2 packs, I want to throw out ideas for other possible waves. I decided 3 characters per wave was a good choice and designated the slots be chosen as follows... 1 figure new to 25th scuplts, 1 figure that is a previous release that is hard to find or an army builder, and 1 figure that is an upgrade from a past release. Also there would always be a 2-1 ratio of Joes and Cobras (if 2 Joes and 1 Cobra in one wave, the next should have 2 Cobras and 1 Joe).
Here are my thoughts for waves 2 thru 4... Wave 2: new - Snake Eyes v4 army builder - Viper (from the 5 pack) but the head can be downgraged to the comic pack version if this helps costs) upgrade - Tele Viper (change his legs to those of Ext Cond Major Bludd and give him some proper forearms). Wave 3: new - Techno Viper hard to find - Cobra Commander (SDCC version in blue) upgrade - Falcon (give him the 'fixed' Duke arms, and re-color him closer to the Vintage figure, and don't forget his .45!) Wave 4: new - Low Light army builder - Cobra Trooper (fixed crotch with black mask + neck and red logo) upgrade - Snake Eyes v1 (give him Flash's shins and feet just like the vintage figure had, also I'd like him to have Firefly's thighs and lose the 9mm on the webgear) Also, you'll notice I made sure some iconic and 'main' characters were chosen. Hasbro likes to make sure we get Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander and others regularly. I maintained this while still getting some figures we could use.

New idea - Battle Packs
I liked the idea of the 5-man battle packs that 25th Joes adopted from the Star Wars line. I think I have an idea how Hasbro could continue them and add something new. If you bumped them up to 7 figures (like the 7-packs we love) and a "theme" for them, you could then add a CD in the BP that includes a comic or 2 from the Marvel run that showcases the "theme" of the BP. Examples: G.I.Joe #2 comic Battle Pack - Arctic Adventure Comes with: Arctic Snake Eyes (re-release without Kwinn's necklace) Arctic Scarlett (new and kitbashed parts) Arctic Breaker (use most of Arctic Snake Eyes parts with Breaker's head, helmet and headset with a new backpack) Arctic Stalker (use Arctic Snake Eyes parts again with Stalker's head) Kwinn (in arctic outfit with his necklace) Bad Guy (from the end of the issue) the "7th figure" could be Kwinn's sled with 2 dogs (Order painted in gray) -or- you could include General Flagg in his dress greens. The CD could include the #2 comic in pdf format and maybe #11 as a bonus! Include advertisements if you wish and even have the file cards be digital! (maybe a digital dossier collection?) G.I.Joe #21 comic Battle Pack - Silent Ninjas Comes with: Snake Eyes - (with Jump Gear) and has the v3 Snake Eyes boots (like the comic) Storm Shadow - with full sleeves like the beginning of the issue or no sleeves like the HOH figure, but no Cobra logo if the full sleeves version is used Scarlett - re-release of the 5pack figure with updated crotch and band-aid sculpted on face. Red Ninja - lose the backpack and give him the weapons used in the comic, plus paint him mostly red (very little paint apps) Destro - comes with a Chess set like in the comic Cobra Commander - hooded but include the high boots like Larry Hama did Cobra Trooper - again with high boots and the night vision goggles (could be re-used a lot) so we can pretend this dude is Snake Eyes in Cobra Disguise. The CD could include all 3 silent issues! (#21, #85, and Yearbook #3s story)

The 7 man battle pack you've described is something I would buy. However, it would cost $80 or more, and we might as well wish for monkeys who fart rainbows to ride unicorns into our garages and poop money. It has exactly as much chance of happening.

ehh, any collector who thinks that he is being f**ked in the arse because he isn't getting the toys suitable for children ages 3 and up that he wants doesn't deserve a reach around.
