I posted a couple of pics in the Halo thread months ago but no one seemed interested. At that point there was about 20 at the store. I also used it with Retaliation troopers. The scale is a bit off but a great vehicle for the price.

It's too big. If you have a Microsoft store nearby, they stock them but they're not cheap.

I didn't know about this and I might have picked it up if I had known of the scale. There were tons of things from McFarlane I would have bought with gusto if it was in scale with Joe since it held that cutting-edge-yet-plausible-tech feel I loved about the old ARAH line. I had hopes that the Falcon 5" they proposed would get released as I was looking forward to customizing it into a PoC Tomahawk but I guess the 5" vehicle line just doesn't make the cash justify a vehicle of that scale.

Sorry about that, I would have paid attention.

It doesn't look as bad/big as the oen prior to this one did. That one was definitely too over sized

It is a bit oversized for Joes, but it doesn't look bad, as you can see in the pics. Plus, it does make sense for a vehicle usually driven by 7 foot + Spartans to look a bit big for the Joes. Besides, after so many years of vehicles like the 25th Vamp, where the driver's head pokes above the rollbar, or a 1-person F-14 that's no longer than a city bus (30th Skystriker), or the teenie-tiny MOBAT, it's nice to have a vehicle that's actually imposing in its size. |

I asked because I assumed that Joe fans would be all over an in-scale-enough version of the iconic Halo vehicle, but I haven't seen much talk about it on the 'tank. Personally, I love the thing. I have both the glossy paint one and the matte/muddy one. I haven't taken any pictures because I don't know what I am doing, but there are plenty of the glossy ones and Joes in this thread: Jada 14" Halo 4 Warthog - The Fighting 1:18th
I'm not shilling for Jada here. But I am interested, because for the longest time I kept saying that if McFarlane had made Halo figures in scale with Joe, the Joe fans would be all over the line, especially the vehicles. I'm trying to see if I was right about that. |

If you're the type that only likes vehicles like the Vamp, Skystriker, and MOBAT, then yeah, this might not be a vehicle for you. But if you're the type that likes the Rolling Thunder and the HAVOC too, then this really fits in quite well.

Too big to be a VAMP-style vehicle. Too small (armament and overall size) to be a HAVOC-style vehicle.
No thanks.
