I already own the V1 and tha V2, I only own like 20 modern figs and 2 of them are already snake eyes'. Now I see the 5 pack snake coming out and the movie snake that is coming out which both look freaking sweet! I dont know what to do! I dont want a third of my collection to be the same freaking character...

Some people like to have their collection show what is their definitive version of a character. But that means replacing action figures will not be uncommon.
You could always just store ones you replaced. Or you could sell them. Or you could make little scenes with your extras, like extra Snake-Eyes fighting extra COBRA Commander or something. Definitive 25th/Modern sculpts/painjobs: SRO blue helmet COBRA Commander Wave 6 Battle Armor COBRA Commander ROC DVD Destro Wave 5 Iron Grenadier Destro New 5-pack Baroness Wave 11 Zartan Original 5-pack Storm Shadow Wave 3 Firefly Comic Scrap-Iron Comic Torch and Ripper Wave 2 Buzzer ARA DVD Serpentor New 5-pack Viper ARA DVD BAT SRO COBRA Soldier SRO COBRA Officer TRU 5-pack Crimson Guard GIJOE: Original 5-pack Duke Original 5-pack Scarlett Comic Gung-Ho (colors look a lot better) 5-pack Roadblock Wave 5 Snake-Eyes (V1) New 5-pack Snake-Eyes (V2) New 5-pack Flint New 5-pack Lady J Wave 3 Shipwreck but with new 5-pack's Polly New 5-pack General Hawk Target UBP Stalker (best colors on him) Wave 7 Wild Bill |

I've been deciding the same thing with both Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow. I do not see an issue having all of my CCs displayed, but SS and SE are another matter, well, a few of the SE ones. I really do not see a need to have both the Wave 1 version displayed when I have the DVD pack version. And I think the In Training one is completely pointless and will make a great Ryu Hayabusa or MK custom. Storm Shadow on the other hand sucks except for the original and the new 5 pack one, which is the one I am planning to display when I get the new 5 packs. I can care less about the others, but right now, have them on my shelf just becuase they are there.

There are quite a few pointless CC repaints from the 25th line. The wave 8 CC with element container is almost the same as the SRO one with a few minor paint details and there are numerous other similar CC's scattered through the 25th line. The Hall of Heroes SS blows the 5 pack SS out of the water the 5 pack SS has the grey belt and feet while the HoH SS is all white with a black belt he just looks way better. |

I have 2 SE's in my collection... both are kitbash/customs of what I have in my mind as their definitive looks of both v1 and v2. Anything else I either use for custom fodder, trade out, or don't even buy.

I also have the CP Hawk sitting inside an AWE Striker, while the real General Hawk is on a stand. As for Snake-Eyes, right now I have the PoD version, MASS Device one, CPW1, 89, Wave1, Battle Damaged, and In Training ones displayed. I am probably going to stop displaying the PoD and Wave1 versions when I get the new 5 pack version, and as I said in my previous post, I am going to use the training one for custom fodder. Finally, with Storm Shadow, none of them except the new 5 pack one has been able to top the first one they did, and I am really sick of looking at them. They take up too much room. The In Training one is going to become my custom for Dice now that I know Hasbro is not going to give us him, while the others will be put into storage. Quote:
