Lately i've seen comic editions rival their foil brethren. In the long run which do you think is better? Foil or comic? I know there will be a growing spread in price between the two. Especially 10 years down the road.
Moreover what does everyone own? Early foil's only, or Mix with reissues?

I buy what I can find. But I have nearly all the first editions. I'm not overly picky since I buy them to keep and display, not to sell for profit.

I prefer the foil embossed. I was lucky to get a few when I was buying lots off ebay as I started collecting.

Nope, and with so many collectors and army builders around these days, they may be with there weight in gold in a few years.

Foil MOCs will be worth more in the future. Alot of those earlier waves on the foil have been opened, especially troop builder figures.

Neither. ;) And which foils will hold better value? Embossed or regular? The embossed look so much better but I have seen those get cracked too. I actually just won a Flint with that logo off of evil bay. I haven't seen one of those yet. I open up my stuff but those ones stay carded. The logo blings son.

I have been collecting the 25th line since the begining so i have just about all the foil carded released figures with the exception of flash and hisstank driver. its not that i have a preference, its i bought what was put out at the time, thats if i was able to find it. with all the re-issued figures on the newer card that came out over the past few month,it would be a fair assumption that the 25th logo'ed foil carded figures will be worth more in the future. at the same time, the general public dont know how many of each version was produced so with the possibility of the newer carded versions being produced in a smaller number, they can actually be more rare which should make them more valuable. I dont really see the foiled version demanding much more money in the future, right now maybe.
