so who were your top 10 for good guys/bad guys from the post Sunbow era? they may have modern era updates or we may still be waiting on them. pics would be awesome, and tell us why you like these characters best.
Joes 1 shockblast - looks awesome, urban trooper. 2 hit and run - good looking fig. 3 storm shadow - ss is a joe?!? ok! 4 fast draw - well built missile launchers. 5 crazylegs - always have been enamored with him. was often one of my first pics as a kid. 6 outback - had him as a kid. cool gear and gun. 7 topside - looks like me. 8 big ben - looks classic. 9 psych-out - psy-ops, awesome. 10 budo - ill add one soon. (EDIT: Added today) COBRA 1 techno-viper - i actually had this one as a kid, one of my last purchases. i like the technical nature of his job and he has a cool uniform like most of my favorite vipers. 2 night viper - found these about a year ago and was impressed with their coolness. 3 iron grenadier - had one as a kid. great looking elite trooper. 4 range-viper - found out about this guy at the release of the DoCI 7 pack. awesome. 5 alley-viper - ditto. i love the birght ass orange color now. i couldnt stand that neon stuff when i got out of joe, but now it looks classic to me on the right figures. 6 headhunter stormtrooper - just ordered 2 MOC. how the eff did i miss these guys? they look awesome. 7 crimson guard immortal - nice. 8 headman - we need more bad guys. the teeth and fingernails on his pick look freaking disgusting. good thin you cant see them on the figure though. 1 MOC is on the way. 9 road pig - i liked him in the marvel comic, plus he has an anarchy tat. 10 heat-viper - the yellow wave helmet looks freakishly dope imo.

I haven't heard of many of those characters but some of those would make really cool figures! Thanks for sharing.

I've never heard of any of those guys, except Kamakura. Isn't that more of a "post-Marvel" group?
Wasn't the OP looking for post-'87 figures of the ARAH run (88-94)? Last edited by TheRealDubya; 04-09-2013 at 03:45 PM.. |

Your list is great. 87 was my last year in Joes as a kid, but I do think a few of the later run were cool.
Hit N Run Road Pig Gnawgahyde You nailed a lot of them with your list. As time passes, I find myself liking the later figures more and more.

i like your list, great choices. i already have many of those in my collection.
i got back into arah this week. i bought 2 laser-vipers, 2 astro-vipers, headman, 2 headhunter stormtroopers, metal-head, and topside. all guys i had never even heard of before coming to the tank. ill be picky, but ive made a list of some of the post sunbow characters who look cool enough to add to my arah collection recently. i was wondering what you all think.
