I'm just getting into collecting modern Joe toys. I collected as a kid from 82-86/87.
This question may have already come up in the past, and maybe some of you veteran collectors will already have the answer. Has Habro ever mentioned the possibility of releasing the USS Flagg in the modern collection? As a Star Wars collector for many years I know Hasbro hasn't shown interest in bigger Star Wars play sets, although fans have gotten the BMF, BAT-AT, etc. I figured with Joe being the property of Hasbro, and the possibility they still have the molds/dies, maybe there is a better chance of Hasbro releasing the Flagg, Terrordrone, Joe HQ, and/or Tactical Platform. Thanks, Jason |

They do not have the molds, and they've said in the past that it would cost something like $500 to release the Flagg. They know people want it, but the odds of it ever coming out are nil.

No.
They've pretty much said if you want a Flagg get a vintage one.

For reference, a while back I ran through some numbers for creating new molds for the Defiant and I estimated the retail cost of a brand new Defiant at retail would have to be about $850.
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ml#post3638254 Just thought I'd link to that since I spent way too much time doing it. |

This is almost all but a guarantee. Since they won't be able to make a ME one, the Kre-o possibility is high on the radar at Hasbro. There was a decent custom Kre-o one at JoeCon.
