So I finally decided to sort and store my 25th Joes tonight (they had been out-of-wave-order in various storage totes).
Being a pretty strict MOSC collector, I aimed to get 1 of each figure (and variants IF possible). So after I went through and sorted all the waves (from Wave 1 2007 -> Wave 1 2009) I realized I had picked up a bunch of extra figures. Like.. a BUNCH. I had my girlfriend scouting for me at some points, so Im guessing she got me some, I might have forgotten what I had at some point and.. I don't know. It's like Christmas in February though! It happens sometimes. Consider some of the extras as openers.

I have 1 of each boxed MOSC in my closet, minus just a handful, but I have 2 drawers full of "extras" that I use for trade/fodder. Occasionally, I'll go through the drawer and "accidentally" throw it across the room, which shucks, bends the card! So I have to open it. I usually only do this with ones that are already dented to some degree, and it's extra icing on the cake if they're a troop builder. Haha. |

LOL. You're just like my older brother when he goes to Home Depot. He buys all kinds of stuff (especially if it is on sale) dumps it in the garage and then totally forgets about it. Damn; I really wish he bought Joes instead. LOL.
Unfortunately I'm plagued with a good enough memory that I remember everything I buy. LOL. |

I keep a checklist of sorts. Everytime I buy something I add it to the list or update the count. This way I dont have to worry about forgetting. It is a nice surprise to find things that you forgot about or didn't know you had. I discovered that I had a Wave 4 Gung-Ho MOC with the anchor molded into the hat months after I bought it!
