I love my MOC collection from Wave 1 07 - Wave 1 09.
I would hate to miss out on these 14 figures not getting carded treatment with individual artwork. Correct production numbers would be for every case of “Wave 2 09” , Hasbro should produce two “Wave 3 09” and one “Wave 3 R1 09” This would put enough of the right product on the market. I say hasbro produces these 3 case assortments. (Wave 2 09) Outback x1 Hit & Run x1 Chuckles x1 Recondo x1 Wetsuit x1 Zap x1 SPC Altitude x1 Dr. Mindbender x1 (Wave 3 09) Alley Viper x2 Lampreys x1 Night Creeper x1 Range Viper x1 Strato Viper x1 Battle B.A.T x2 (Wave 3 R1 09) Alley Viper x2 Lampreys x1 Night Creeper x2 Range Viper x2 Strato Viper x1 This would satisfy MOC collectors and army builders. This also allows for the sale of singles for someone who may not want every figure or wants multiple of a certain one. Thank you for reading. Let me know what you think and if anyone can get this to the hasbro team please do so. -I personally would rather get all new characters than have them reissue figures that we had already gotten. Let the single cards come in due time as filler waves and not at the beginning of ARAH restart as it would make thew long wait even longer. |

if you think a petition signed by 200 collectors is gonna get hasbro to change their minds, no. If you think a petition signed by 5,000 collectors will get hasbro to change their minds, no. They already have this planned out, and can't suddenly switch their production.
Just be happy we're getting the figs. In fact, I'm not mad about it at all, I'll get the 7 packs and open them and love my mindbender, zap, alley vipers, recondo, chuckles, heat viper, lampreys, outback, etc etc. There are SO MANY GOOD FIGS IN THESE PACKS!!! i'll will buy the 7 packs , as for the movie line yeah go go powerrangers |

Hey Troynos,
See I think kinda like what you said .If the movie does bomb, I can see Hasbro taking it out on us the Collectors who were supporting an awesome idea of releasing the 25th line. If you look at it were being punished now----no Ripcord, Covergrl etc modern era is being put on the backburner etc. Sure there making the movie but it isn't for us it is for the new $$$$$ oops sorry Hasbro I mean fans that it'll bring in. Saw this coming if you look at all the Hasbro Q & A's they never really gave straight answers always beat around the bush. What I meant was that if there ins't a new generation of fans that starts playing/collecting G.I. Joe now (whether it's due to the movie or them getting into the Modern Era line), then eventually the line will die out in the near future. Soon enough there won't be any classic Joes to produce and the nostalgia collector's will "go away" and the line will die. The people buying Joe now due to the nostalgia of their childhood, chances are they will not buy it come the 50th anniversary. I know that I won't be come another 23 years, even if the line continues strong and I'm not a nostalgia-only collector. I like new additions to the Joeverse. There's only so much you can do with the Modern Era line, only so many characters that are able to be produced. The line needs new energy to generate new characters to generate new toys to generate new fans to generate the ability to keep growing for the next 23 years. Eventually things become stagnant and need to be reinvented. Hasbro is in the business of making and selling toys. They want to keep their brands strong and producing. Making things for just collectors is not the way to do it. The Movie and toyline is an attempt to create the next generation of rapid Joe fans. It's an attempt to create the next us.

I'm more than happy with the way these are coming out. If they're $40 a set, that's cheaper than I could get 7 figures at retail, so the Mindbender's really not a big deal. I'm sure there's a guy over in england who'd take them for the arms alone.
I can't wait for these to start hitting. |

Give me this figures in the two 7-pack boxes. The packaging may not be as pretty, but if they're as easy to get as the 2008 7-packs, I'll be a happy man. I am so sick of being unable to find figures on the pegs.

The only thing that "midly" irked me is that Short-Fuze, Zap, and Grunt didn't get single cards...after all that is the rest of the original carded "25th anniversary".

for crying out loud. for one, you don't know whether these were intended to be single carded anyway, so you aren't missing out on them being single carded anymore than any other figure that has been included in a comic or other multi-pack, so that simply isn't an issue.
second, instead of releasing these figures across several waves, filling the single carded releases with repaints you would complain about or repacks you would complain about, or pairing a few of them with lame repaints in comic or multi-packs you would complain about having to buy just to get the other new figure, Hasbro decides to release them all in one fell swoop, in two large sets, and make them internet exclusives so you wont have to fight the scalpers for them at retail which you would complain about as well, and what do you do???? you freaking complain about it!
