I dont usually keep my Joes un-opened with the exception of the doubles I buy of Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. I Just enjoy em out and on display better. However the Matt Trakker figure seems to be selling for a few bucks more then other figures in his wave and I was wondering from a collectors view if its worth me buying doubles and opening one, or just getting the one and opening it up.

I have chosen to pass on this figure. I might buy one one day.

That figure has been hard to find here is South Dakota. I finally got my hands on one at Target. I opened mine and really like it.

I bought two. I really wanted one, being a fan of M.A.S.K. and all. Found him at a comic book store for $14.99 (Canadian prices. Yeah, I know...). Which was fine by me because I never expected to find him other than online. It was also in the American Packaging, which is better than the generic Canadian one.
I only collect Cobra figures, and I always open them. But Mat Trakker I planned to keep in package. Sure, I couldn't really enjoy the toy, but I really just wanted it for nostalgic reasons. 2 days later I found him again at a WalMart for like $8 Canadian! Naturally I picked it up. It was in the stupid Canadian packaging so I had no problem ripping that toy open! |

With the future waves being cancelled, I wouldn't be surprised if waves 11-13 become more common, and therefore will be worth less. just my opinion.

I dig the figure a lot. He's the joe's advanced weapons specialist. Something the team always needed. We have like 14 machine gunners, 26 bazooka troops, 164 radio operators. But no one to take credit for all this cool tech.

I'm a big time M.A.S.K. fan and I still don't have that figure. Here in Puerto Rico the retail stores toy departments suck.
