Didn't see a thread for this, but someone over at the yojoe forums has a detailed run down between the sets. It's mostly missing paint apps on the new ones.

Interesting. I ordered mine from guru...haven't gotten it yet. Bummer about the missing red paint app.

I wonder if this was intentional or just a "fall through the cracks" thing. Schrage in particular seems like an oversight, though not a deal breaker.
Altogether, though, I'm glad there are at least some minor but noticeable differences. It makes the Con sets remain identifiable as "first runs" while still allowing people to have the same figures (if minus or plus a touch of paint here and there). I have to say, by the time they figures were in my hands, I REALLY ended up liking this set a lot more than I thought I would. The OG is crazy good even if some figures aren't purely "classic" in their interpretation. The IGs are less good, but Voltar and the Machinegun IGs almost make up for it by their lonesomes. |

The only thing that kills it really is the gold/copper on the IGs, but if you only have one or the other, its not a huge deal. I like the new Iron Bear's hair better, honestly.

I gave Iron Bear the unmasked head from gocart Firefly, but the new hair does seem to fit the character better.

I got the second run and I don't mind the differences. I didn't even notice them until I saw that thread on Yo Joe. I think the set looks better in hand than they do in the pics and I liked them in the pictures. I also don't mind not spending extra money on the set either.
