This thread is a counterpart to another thread, where we point out where Hasbro missed the mark on an updated figure. Here, we can point out where Hasbro hit a home run in their update.

First off, POC Lowlight. Love the accessories, the sculpt, the card art. Truly one of the best modern era figures.

POC Beach head shines as well. The originals head was too big. This has all the benefits of the POC line and corrects the proportion problems of the original.

I always thought the 25th/ME Battle Armor Cobra Commander was a GREAT update from the original.

Renegades/30th law and order. The ROC version was ok, but the renegades/30th has so much goodness going on, that even the dog gets some. It's a shame that wave, with airtight, lifeline, sci-fi, and law and order were so hard to find.

Footloose
POC Cobra Trooper Hall of whatever it was fixed arm Vipers (still the best Viper in my opinion) Zarana Blowtorch (25th or POC) Crazy Legs (such a simple repaint and kitbash that turned out so good) Steel Brigade (one of my top favorites from today. Not 100% identical to ARAH verisons but close enough and just as awesome) Sci-Fi POC Stalker (I didn't like the head but it was a great update all the same. I had hopes they were going to redo the entire old 13 to match) BATs Snow Serpents |
