I think just about everyone doesn't appreciate that awful white splotched holster that was added to RB's vest for his battle kata figure. I knew from the day I bought it that it had to go. I tried a bunch of different solvents but the one that worked the very best was nail polish remover. After soaking the vest alone in some of the nail polish remover the white paint gets gummy enough to just peel off (it will take numerous soakings to do this completely)
Good luck, thought there would be many others that would be interested in knowing.

I just painted over it with a flat black. It seemed like a faster route to take. Does anyone know why the white is on there to begin with?

lol, although I guarantee there are people who really think that's what was said at Hasbro there surely must be some sort of reasoning somewhere. The other night I considered that maybe it was to make it less realistic for safety or something, or less violent, almost like an orange tip on a toy gun. I know that's crazy and pretty unlikely but it's honestly all I've got lol.

Either of those could be a valid option. I was just assuming if it wasn't referencing something in the movie that maybe it could be a production error that happened late last year and Hasbro went with it since so many were produced before it was noticed. Either way, it is a kick ass figure, Rock or Roadblock.

The original promo photos of the figure from last year don't show the white on the vest. So it had to have been added afterwards. If you look at screenshots from the movie, like this one:
You'll see that a lot of the time there's a reflection of light on that part of the vest. Maybe they were just trying to recreate that? |

Ford this picture is confusing. Why all the blocks ? But yes I do understand of them trying to catch the light off of his chest. I feel that Retaliation figures on the whole have very little paint.

They already added something to ruin that figure, such as two gigantic holsters and a stupid forearm tat.

-remove the holsters (and guns in them) -remove the white paint on the vest -remove the Arashikage tat -add the "R" on his vest. You would think with all the money saved from taking the rest of that junk off, and adding the one small paint detail this figure could have been perfect. I'd love to know why it seems they just change things for the sake of change.
