I'm not trying to be funny or provocative. I have bought nearly every Retaliation figure I can get my hands on, and they are all a disappointment, even Lady Jaye and three-pack Firefly, both of whom I'll probably add to my to-trade-away pile.
But Mouse? I dunno, man... the dude poses likes a dream, the head sculpt is stellar (I'm not familiar with the actor; figure's head looks like a cross between Edward Norton and Adrien Brody), the vest is badass... He's a kickass friggin' G.I. Joe toy, and I'm a bit baffled that he's being overlooked in favor of a derpy-ass Bruce Willis toy and a lackluster Renegades Scarlett repaint. UPDATE: To address something that people have asked more than once: I posted this when the three-packs first arrived, and I meant that Mouse is the best of what was available at that time. I will update this first post once my 3.5 wave arrives. I expect I will prefer Kwinn to Mouse, but I suspect Mouse will trump Ultimate Duke and Flint, if only because I find digital camouflage to be limiting in terms of the kinds of stories you can tell with it; Mouse can be a sniper or a dinosaur hunter, but a dude in digital camo is definitely a soldier. (Not that that's a bad thing obviously, in a line called G.I. Joe. I just prefer figures that are more versatile). I can't wait to visit the Snake River Canyon tomorrow and photograph this sumbitch! UPDATE: I visited the Snake River Canyon and photographed this sumbitch! UPDATE: For those of you who (inexplicably) dislike the vest and head, here's just one example (the first I tried) of a simple kit bash: Last edited by Monte Williams; 07-16-2014 at 12:21 PM.. |

Dude, I totally agree. I was surprised I liked him so much. I've been buying more G.I.joe team 3packs because of him. You can easily swap his head and army build. And you can do a quick paint job on the vest, from blue to red, to make different units. nice piece!

Have you ever seen Jurassic Park? Well, he is the main little boy in that movie. The likeness on the action figure is very good.

That has nothing to do with the quality of a figure, though.
