So I bought a "Ninja Combat Cruiser" - aka "The El Cheapo VAMP MKII" :( Needless to say, I am less than impressed at this point. :(
Here's the good, and the ONLY good in my opinion in this - 1. If you wanted an SUV/enclosed version of the VAMP MKII, you got it. Although the rear cargo area has NO opening to access it (even from the rear hatch/tail gate area), making it basically useless for cargo or more Joes. :( 2. Night Fox's vest - he comes w/ one of those cooler looking tactical vests which, THANK GOD, you can remove for reuse on a better figure. 3. Night Fox's rifle - which while that sh*tty grey in cooler you can repaint, and is the same cool rifle that Life Line came with that everyone is after. Beyond that, if you wanted a good platform to build a 30th Cobra Stinger off of, this is it by far. That, and I got mine on sale at Target, so I only paid $20, but any more than that and I would have been pissed I spent this much on it. :( If there are those of you out there slobbering over wanting one of these, I forewarn you now - THIS IS NOT THE SAME VEHICLE AS THE VAMP MK II !!!!! There is a LOT less "play" in this vehicle and a HELL of a lot less value in it (I won't even get into the Night Fox figure :( ). At $20 it's not a bad deal, but still too much for what you are getting in my opinion, but more than that (I hate to think of anyone getting arse raped on E-bay on one of these for more than $30 plus shipping!!!! :O) and I'm willing to bet you'll feel the same. :( It just feels like a cheaper version of the same vehicle (VAMP MK II). Granted I get Hasblow had to get a lower price version out there for kids for the film (although again, I can't see more than $20 making any sense for this???), but this thing is just cheesy. In the end I got mine for a custom, plus I wanted an easy way to the SUV version of the VAMP MK II w/o having to customize another one, and as I said, this will make a perfect 30th Stinger if that's what you want, but beyond that this thing is just a cheap copy of a better vehicle. Something kids would enjoy playing w/ more than the collector who appreciates the nicer vehicles as we've seen previous to this in the 25th and on line since 2007. I give it a 5 out of 10. :( Hope this helps (HTH)............................

I bought one on-line at a reasonable price. I will say I agree with you that they trimmed a lot of things off this toy, that should have been included( front gun, spare tire, articulation for poor Night-Fox ) but I still think it is a decent toy. I will never put any of those Arashikage stickers on it, since this is going to be my version of the Modern Stinger( until Hasbro repaints it again, and makes a Stinger ). I like, but I don't love it as I feel it could have been much better. And you are right, it is not a $30+ toy, $20 max. Still my 7 year old likes it and was playing with it more than I was yesterday when mine showed up on the door step. My grade would be: 7 out of 10.

I received mine, I really wish I purchased the first 2 variants of it. I purchased this one to try my hands at customizing.

I least want to get one of these and judge it for myself and go from there. For me, i can deal with sorry ass figures that has no POA, but Hasbro knew this was coming and to make up for it they should have included ALL the weapons from the previouse Vamps (like the peg mounted machine gun, missile launch and so on) and not only that, they should have kept the original front and rear bumper so the winch claw can be used in the front and the spare and Gas cans can still be used on the back bumper. I do believe Hasblow will repaint this into a modern Stinger or Vamp after hearing and seeing our complaints! I mean, if they can bring out the Tomahawk with extra this and that, then why couldn't they do the same for the Combat Cruiser? The mold is there, just paint a different color and give the same or different weapons and possible a better figure and hasbro could be a winner with all of us. I use that term loosely until hasbro actually does it.

I still want one. Maybe two. But I'd rather it was decked out and sold as a Stinger II.
