Hm (Pun intended), I guess I accidentally stumbled on a sort of rare figure. Which means I'm going to have to find another Flint to open and pose.
But does the fact that the marker boldness is inconsistent with the R.R. Commander mean anything? Or does Hasbro just get any random marker? Last edited by Phorpus; 12-21-2007 at 06:16 PM.. |

But it's sort of sad that a figure that has been fighting at the front lines in my collection dio is now under a plastic case. |

Well, the good news is that Flint's becoming more mainstream so finding another to place on the frontline shouldn't be hard... A little costly, perhaps, but still...
Again, awesome find, I'm sure everyone and their brother will now be looking at bootsoles. Meanwhile in a Hasbro Factory in China, Hung-so Mang has struck again. |

Man... Now I'm pissed I passed on the Roadblock and Gung-Ho... and also that I traded away my super-rare special Flint to you Phorpus! ;) Oh well... that Secret Santa gift you sent me definitely makes up for it!

So the 1-up is a prototype sample of the production figure, at 1:1 scale, 2-up is the same at twice the size. A 'master' is a prototype that is painted; the paint master is used as a template for the paint detailing on the final toy. In the factory, this is used by workers to use as guides when they paint the production figures. |

I was fortunate to pick up a SEALED SNAKE EYES W/ BLACK TIMBER that has an "HM" written on his left front chest area. It took me forever to find this thread yesterday. I was wondering what the significance of "HM" was. Pretty cool! I will post pics if anyone is interested. I would like to know if anybody has heard anything else on this subject and its rarity.

They arent exactly the same, if you look at the camo pattern on the HM figure on the lower legs it is different from the other 2 flints in that pic. Very cool find by the way.
