Hey guys,
Do you know if they will be making any new tiger force characters in waves to come. I know Wild Bill will be apart of the tiger force rattler. Just curious. Also it's great to be back on line with you guys. My work kept me really busy so now I'm back. Just trying to catch up on any news that I may have missed. Thanks, Firefly for life. |

I don't think there's been anything official announced, but with the way Hasbro likes to put out repaints, I imagine we'll get them eventually.

I think the next TF fig, coming out, at least what a lot of people have speculated from card art we've seen is a TF Roadblock.
Thats what Ive heard/read about around here

I don't think they should release any more Tiger Force figures single carded or any other subset for that matter. Hasbro should have done a "Battle Pack" of Tiger Force or any other subset. Being released single carded all we see is pegwarmers because all they are, are repaints.

Speaking of whom, who is the leader of TF? Flint is 'Tiger Force Leader', but does Duke not have a higher position?

No, Flint outranks Duke. Flint is a Warrant Officer while Duke is a Master Sgt. or 1st Sgt. depending on which filecard you look at.

Now, the meat of it. Since the 80s, I've known that a Warrant Officer technically outranks a Sergeant, but I've always wondered why Flint gets ordered around by Duke. I've put this down to the way the Joes operate. But now, I see the same is true on 'The Unit' - Jonas seems to be in command of Bridget. Can anyone enlighten me as to where a WO actually sits in the chain-of-command.

Read the "Secrets in Filecards" thread, we go into the Warrant Officer thing alot.
Basically, a Warrant Officer is kind of a floating officer, fits and does multiple roles. Flint should outrank Duke all the time, but then Joe never really followed the true ranks anyways. I don't mind the Tiger Force repaints. I don't mind repaints when there's a major difference in character (Tiger Force repaints, Night Force repaints, Python Patrol, etc..) as those were true vintage releases. I don't mind multiples of character that had different outfits thru the years (Snake-Eyes, Roadblock) and I really don't mind when they release a different version of the character (Arctic Snake-Eyes, Pilot Scarlett, Cobra Flint). What I do mind is the barely worthwhile repaints that the do of Cobra Commander, Duke and Zartan. I really don't see the need of that.

A battle pack would be great, but I'd really like to see a single carded Dusty. A TF repaint of Dusty would be really cool.
