I was just wondering, are there any members on the forums here at JoeBattlelines that live in Southern California (mainly in L.A. County)? For those of you who are have you seen Wave 5 (I.G. Destro, SnowJob, Flash, Siegies, & back in black SnakeEyes) at either Target, TRU, and Wal-Mart? I always read threads of collectors having them and I've yet to see them at retailers. There was a thread over at HissTank about Wal-Mart carrying 25th Anniversary Joes beginning Jan 20th 2008. Anyone have conformation on this or are there any Wal-Mart employees on these Joe forums? These days all I see are Waves 2 & 3, Comic Packs Waves 1 & 2, and the 5 Packs. Granted I've been able to find stuff and not go home empty handed but like most of you Wave 5 is one I really want to get my hands on ASAP. Anyways just want to get the L.A. crew together in helping each other out as far as Wave 5 and future Waves.

Hey Jinx, I don't live in SoCal, but there are a few things I can confirm:
1. Wal*Mart already offers the 25A line. 2. Wave 5 is appearing everywhere, but hasn't saturated the market like waves 2 and 3 have. 3. We have a few folks who work for W*M, hopefully they can help with any questions you have. 4. "over at HissTank"? This IS HissTank! :p |

Yeah, this is HissTank... You'll find everything you need regarding SoCal findings in the SoCal Sightings... Most of us post reports daily.
I found at least 4 sets of wave 5 @ Wal*Mart during the beginning weeks of December (1st set - Baldwin Park, 2nd Set - Rancho Cucamonga, 3rd set - Glendora, 4th partial - Panorama City) 2 of which i kept and 1 gave to another SoCal member. The 4th was a partial - 2x CGs... Opened 1 and traded for other figures with another. Found 1 set of Wave 4 @ Wal*Mart (Rancho Cucamonga) - Picked up the Cobra figures along with Scarlett (both for members). Hopefully we'll be able to see them back in retail soon, need a few more Snow Jobs and Crimson Guards. |

I'm also in the SoCal area, and I think I heard something about a boy's toys reset on the 17th but don't hold me to that.
And the SoCal thread in sightings is pretty well updated. At the moment it seems like Wave 2/3 revision waves are dominating with some Wave 1 comic packs. Last edited by Phorpus; 01-05-2008 at 02:39 AM.. |

4. "over at HissTank"? This IS HissTank!
Sorry, I knew this was HissTank I just copied my thread onto multiple Joe Forums. Thanks for all the replys. Hopefully I can get something going with my fellow collectors as soon as I get more free time. I'm a Geek Squad Home Theater installer from the Burbank Empire Center, so I'm pretty busy 'til after Super Bowl Sunday
