I was always more concerned with the droopy propeller syndrome.
If I recall, the guns sorta always drooped on mine, though. I had the one that came on the General (still do, but it's in storage on the other coast at my parent's house in North Carolina). I always really liked that tiny damn helicopter though. It was awesome for what it was. |

CAREFULLY pull the guns from the peg holes without breaking them. Then apply something inside the peg holes and around the gun pegs, I used clear nail polish (the same stuff I've used on Joes for years for various things) you could probably use some form of glue as well. Let it dry and then just pop them back in.
I take no responsibility if you manage to somehow break the pegs off the guns though >_< |

Would the hot glue fix work for this?
I'm not sure.

I have a treatment for Droopy Gun Syndrome, but if it lasts more than four hours, call a medical professional immediately.

If you are able to get the guns out you might try putting some superglue on the rim of the hole the guns plug into. Let it completely dry (1 hour) and then replace the guns. The glue may just make the hole a tad smaller therefore affecting how tight the guns sit in there.
