The only thing peg warming in Massachusetts right now are the revision waves. Everything else moves, and fast.

Joe has no media tie-in for now. Sigma six ain't it either. The movie, good or bad, can at least bring familiarity to the GIJoe name.

We're seeing figures disappearing from our Targets here in Washington - even the peg warmers. Now admittedly Target hasn't been doing a great job of getting new figs, although they did recently get Waves 11 and 13.

walmart is the ONLY store packed and it's revision waves... they are falling off the pegs even as they are not selling. targets have gobs of planes, ubp, movie sets and they too sell slowly. it's only the latest stuff that is selling quickly here in maryland.
1. kids now don't know joe from a hole in the wall. 2. there are no cartoon tie ins. 3. kids don't read joe comics anymore. 4. even the joe movie will be more adult oriented. 5. resolute is adult oriented. you as a parent have to go thru great lengths to introduce joes to kids via scraped together dvd copies of the toons, new line of toys, etc. my kids love the cartoons and playing with 25th/modern toys. without the cartoons however, i honestly feel it would be a much harder sell to them. they needed to see the figures and toys in story lines and in action. joes in thier current form are not marketed toward kids but toward collectors in my opinion. i honestly think that if kids were the intended market the enitre advertising campaing would have been much stronger and widespread. thank god for the dvd sets though. my kids love these, unfortunately we have only seen the first 2 sets in maryland. i have yet to find the other 3. i honestly feel they should make many more of these even if they are limited to singe episode arcs with say 1-3 figures, like the comic packs. my kids could care less about the comics, that involves reading for fun... to respond directly to the topic, joes were never alive with kids today to begin with. this line was always marketed and advertised as a collectors line. it just got lucky in it's popularity and the fact that some kids are curious enough to want them instead of the mass market nick/cartoon netowrk garbage (most of it anyway). i must admit to getting hooked into total drama island with my kids...

I've never seen a kid looking at GI Joes. Oh how I pity the future.

kids who's parent's don't push them to learn are dumb...you can blame it on the kids all you want but in the end, parents set the example.

Well I saw a parent on his cell phone asking what Joes their son needed. After they did not know he looked lost so I directed him to the last UBP that Target had. Some kid is going to have a merry Christmas. That was the only one though. I never see kids looking at the Joes. They all want electronics.
