Sometimes what we really wan't isn't always immediately doable for Hasbro. Whether it's some complicated Echo-class suggestion like the Tomahawk or an update to some obscure character that may seem like a good idea to the old school fans, but would otherwise be a peg-warming debacle on the sales floor. I think it's equally important to tell Hasbro what we don't want so they know to move onto something els. So, you get five characters and five vehicles you won't want to see on the pegs after the movie waves:...
Characters: 5) Ninja "extras", like the Red Ninjas. This movie has gone overboard with ninjas and to me, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Jinx being are great characters, but the conflux of ninja-ness has become so epidemic that the movie line has reinvented Roadblock as some sort of ninja. This is simply going too far into a meme. I would ask that Hasbro scrap plans for continuing to release new generic armybuilding ninjas like the Red Ninjas for a while. 4) Stop Reinventing Duke. Maybe this is our own fault for some of us hating the legacy duke for various reason, and hasbro has taken it upon themselves to give us something different in response. However, these experimentations aren't working. I know when the movie line ends the absurd and horrible Channing Duke figures will be put on hiatus (hopefully), but the problems with Duke's depiction the last few years doesn't begin and end with Tatum Channing. The Renegades/30th version was a slicked and spiked haired punk who played a rebelious second banana with wierd guns, and the sculpt makes the last few figures look 75-years old. The POC versions haven't been much better, except for v42. And I'm really not digging the scar. I wouldn't mind an "ultimate" duke in khaki or other regular army getup with the old Michael Bell ARAH swagger and a good set of accessories, but otherwise please just stop. 3) Double Clutch. First of all, it's 'Clutch', and we had a good release with the original revamped Vamp a few years ago which followed a good anniversary depiction in the 25th Vamp. Now, we have a good sculpt for Retaliation, albiet with simplified articulation. I think we all like clutch, and have had opportunity to get him. Surely we can find other offroad vehicle drivers we would like at this point... 2) Beachhead. It got as good as it's probably going to get for awhile with the POC version, and that followed a pretty good 25th anniversary version. The Retalitation version is decent, but a bit of a let-down from the previous sets. Unless Hasbro plans on doing another "maskless" version with the same general level of sculpt and accessories as the POC version, I think we can move on for awhile. 1) Storm Shadow & Snake Eyes. we have had lots of good offerings here lately, along with some bad. Unless you want to re-do v54 SE with rocker ankles and maybe do another ultimate 30th-style Storm shadow and take off some of the Renegades glitz, lets lay off for a while. Vehicles: 1) I don't think I want to see a SHARC ever released again. There is only so much disbelief I can suspend. 2) Ghost Hawk. I really think they should get away from VTOL, save for the F-35B. Give us real planes, please. 3) Nonsensical tanks like the Tread Ripper. Silly large guns on a catepillar with a roll cage. no thanks!

The Armadillo (aka armored panther). I loved it as a kid, was happy to get the 25th verison but holy freaking crap. Between the club and hasbro we'e had like 5 or 6 verisons of it in as many years.
The classic HISS tank. If any toy mould in history has ever paid for itself many times over it is the classic verison one HISS tank. It's about time to dig up the HISS 2 moulds or do some fixing up to that DTC HISS tank. Or just get away from the HISS completely for a few years. The Valor vs Venom, GIJoe vs Cobra and DTC weapons. They need to destory almost every damn weapon mould from that era. The guns for the most part don't fit well at all with the 25th/ROC/POC/30th figures. All they're good for is warping hands. Fewer Repaints, GIJoe isn't Star Wars and repaints of core characters don't work as well with this line. Make one perfect figure, toss in a few heads and web gear if it would make it a different verison and call it good. We don't need 20 different Snake Eyes and Storm Shadows. |

ROC Night Raven. Sand Serpent deco was cool, but there was no way in hell that would have flown off shelves at full price at the time.
Driver figures with 5 points of articulation. Never thought I would see Hasbro go Chap Mei until this year. If it came to that or no driver figures included at all, I would opt for the latter. Saves more anyways. Cheap plastic. It ruined the Retaliation Red Ninja and other figures. Figures with no wrist swivels/double jointed knees/ankle joints |

Yep what you said. The Awe Striker as classic as it is, needs to be retired. Especially since the versions seem to be getting worse rather than better. I loved the 25th Target exclusive( minus the unpainted seats ) the Desert repaint I was not crazy about; and the Retaliation version is just boring.

I don't care what is put out as long as it's good another three SEs SSs and Dukes I can deal if it's better than the last.
as long as the early 25th parts are dead and buried I'm happy.
