The only good arctic Destro fix I can think of would be if they hadn't made one.

i dont get the hate for arctic destro, i think he works for what he is, i'd love to see more main characters in winter gear. even if they just put a new head on the arctic snake eyes body avery time, like the resolute 7 pack duke, why have an army of snow serpents if all they are fighting is snow job?

I will admit that sprecialized figures (arctic, desert, jungle, etc) usually become difficult to use, because they are specific; though with PoC being geared towards theaters, it really made sense, and worked. With the exceptions of the BS space themed stuff in the 90s, Joe never really provided us with large groups of characters designed for theater specific combat. I thought it was cool, and really added to the feel(s) Hasbro was going for with the PoC line: that feel being a cohesive GI Joe plot/storyline that the toys could be directly related to. I thought it was refreshing and awesome. Now, with that being said, I feel that Arctic Destro is awesome, because he fits into that aforementioned "feel" so well. He just completes that puzzle. Granted, the figure is kinda lacking in places, but it's still cool over all. Who else is going to lead those Snow Vipers? :p |

Painted-on snow just does not work. It looks more like he was dunked in liquid nitrogen. If he were clean, like every other winter-themed figure, he'd be so much more useful in a display.
