I am wondering because the number of October Guard sets that I hear were made is 600. Are there 600 members or is the number higher or lower? I am curious because I think it would suck big time that I signed up and didn't get a chance to purchase a set of the October Guard. I understand that people who go to the convention should get priority but I would hope all of us regular folk get a chance too. Thanks for any info....

I think there are around 2,000 members.

Well, the only info we have to go by is that a few months ago when the club was trying to plug their auction site Brian Savage wrote in the club magazine something along the lines of "if every club member posted just 2 items each we'd have 6000 items for sale" so that would lead you to believe there are around 3000 members, but that also questions whether or not those members are all Joe or a combination of Joe and Transformers clubs (as the auction site would represent both brands).
Now add on to that, the fact the credit fiasco this year likely severely hurt the membership numbers and I wouldn't be surprised if there was somewhere in the ballpark of 900-1500 in the Joe club currently.

3000 members. Maybe less after the credit card fiasco.

I've always been ok with the lower quantity. Makes it more of an "exclusive"

I'm jealous. I missed these guys and didn't get them on ebay. Now they are out of reach. Those are nice looking figures.
