Hello all. Went to my local wal mart this morning. Same one I go to 2-4 times a week. Low and behold I see lady jaye, serpentor, and cobra officer sitting on the pegs. Holy flashback. After adjusting my eyes for a minute, I grabbed one of the lady jayes and took it to the scanner. Sho nuf, 6.97 lady jaye. So, it got me thinking about a couple of things. First off, how many people have experienced this, and what's the oldest figure you've seen lately? Second, I think wave 2 is the worst looking wave they produced. I didn't even buy serpentor, lady jaye, or buzzer when they were first out. I even almost passed on beach head. Looking at them now, I think serpentor is the worst looking figure they have produced yet. He had so much potential and they gave him the worst treatment. Just my 2c.

Take a look at the card. Is it the 25th foil?
If not, then it's a revision card, which is a new wave of the old figures on non-25th foil cards.

Sounds like either a lost case turned up, somebody had some returns, or stashed figures were found and put back on the pegs.
Nice find, though. |

every now and then i come across an OG foil card. Hasbro is not making this anymore, nor are they sending them out in cases. My best guess is someone buys new figures and then returns the older figures they have with the receipt.

I found a Wave 1 25th carded Snake Eyes with Timber at a Toys R Us a few weeks ago. The card was dinged up pretty badly so I am assuming it was probably stashed somewhere in the store and then finally found.
