I like my Revoltechs, too, but they are a bit over-priced (like most Kaiyodo). Microman is Takara (in my mind, "the eastern Hasbro but better"). |

That's what I was paying when they were new. $6-$8. Except, of course, for the exclusives like Cmdr Survive and the ones with the much larger vehicles (I think those were 12-15). I think BBTS was selling them at $8ish at that time. I just remember thinking they'd have been a good backup if my usual shops sold out.

This is an easy question. I wish someone would take the DC property out of the hands of Mattel already so we could get some nice and interesting figures already. The closest they have come to greatness is the DC Unicerse Classics, and there is still plenty room for improvement with those. I would love to see the DC universe get the Marvel Fury Files treatment. Mattel's Infinite Heroes are just ridiculous. It just seems Mattel is lazy and uninspired. I also think it would be awesome to have M.A.S.K. done in 25th fashion and scale. Thundercats, too. Oh yeah, Masters of the Universe too. Oh and....nevermind..

Can't use the ebay etailers. I'm not sure how shops treat folks now, but back then you could hit up a lot of places that weren't doing the instant 40% profit, but imports are double cost PLUS 40% profit. *laugh*
Just Be Toys was good for a while, then they started cancelling pre-orders and saying stuff didn't exist (which could be found on eBay). HLJ, of course (looking now, they are more expensive...thanks, weak dollar!) I don't remember a lot of the local shops now, but also just had some fellow collectors over there helping us out over here. It's generally better to only pay the shipping once, rather than shipping to the guy who marks it up and then shipping again to get to you. heh. Hey, here's the good Alien... (as usual, licensed stuff is more costly) MA-13 Microman Alien Warrior |
