Hey, even Ruben's stickers have problems sticking to curved surfaces, like missiles, rollbars, etc. So I'm wondering if this is the only real problem with the Target planes. Obviously I'll leave those ones off the missiles and such.
I use repros exclusively with vintage vehicles, but don't care so much about the new stuff. What do you think?

I have applied the ones included in both planes. They aren't high quality stuff but they are better than nothing. In both cases I first used a hair blower to make them stickier (I read this tip in one thread).

I put mine on one plane last night and wiped it down very swiftly with 70% rubbing alcohol just prior and they seem to stick ok. Not as good as I would like, but not quite the nightmare that has been described by other tankers. But then again its only been one night, so I'll check back after a week and see if they still are on there ok.
* I had trouble with my flight pod missle stickers also though, and those are better quality. |

if you have to clean the toy with a solution or use accessories to apply factory stickers i'd say there is a fundamental flaw with the product (stickers).
if you want high quality, but reproductions. factory stickers are good for playing with but peel easily. i have to go back over mine at least once a week to press them down again and i trimmed most of them before applying htem.

Wouldn't rubbing alcohol on plastic ruin the plastic color?

Has anyone tried applying the stickers from CobraStickers.com? I am curious if they work any better.

I just applied mine yesterday after washing both the Rattler & Conquest with detergent & they seem to be fine.
They only complaint I have is they arent very flexible. You have to try & avoid placing them over any raised part of the jet (ie rivets or lines) as they will get air bubbles very easily. But that problem can be solved with a pin afterwards. |

I'm buying mine from Ruben. Don't even want to waste my time with the originals.
