I was recently looking at the pictures for M.A.S.K Matt Trakker and I actually like this homage to the original line.
But I was thinking if they have set the precedent with this figure then why not add another one. I think that other one should be V.E.N.O.M Miles Mayhem. It wouldnt be hard to do, a new head sculpt on the SDCC CC body, give him a retooled Hawk v2 Jetpack (or something that could be close to the idea of the Switchblade), and give him a position in COBRA as a consultant and you have a new figure and a much needed inclusion in the depleted COBRA forces. But no more figures from M.A.S.K. I can tolerate Matt Trakker, I could tolerate Miles Mayhem but that is all I'd want to see. Now if Hasbro is going to do anything with the SDCC CC body it should be used with tomax/xamot heads to give us suited up versions of the twins. A simple kitbash and repaint, Hasbro's specialty |

I will not be buying the MASK figures.. Only Joes from the comics, cartoons, or 82-89.

I think it is DUMB.
And I bet you'll see a repaint listed as The Interrogator, which who I thought the figure was until I saw the M.A.S.K. listing under it... |

I would love a 25th GI Joe Miles Mayhem figure. I doubt we'll get one, but it would be fantastic and miles ahead of a green Snake Eyes or a Red Cobra Commander.

I dig cross overs to a controlled extent. Since the new Joe format is (in my eyes) the best articulation with the right size I don't mind Hasbro experimenting with this.
Really, when you think about it, GI Joe has been the line that has accepted these guest appearances in the past - Sgt. Slaughter The Fridge Rocky I wouldn't mind seeing other lines being resurrected because they got a chance to spin off the Joe line. What other Hasbro/Kenner properties were there in the 80's? |

It could work if they pulled off something similar to what they did with Matt Tracker. The new figure is close enough that I can consider him a 25th Annihilator for Destro's IG army. If the Miles Mayhem is designed to look close enough to another character, I'd be all over it.

I know that there is already a character named Gen. Mayhem working for Destro's Iron Grenadiers but I could see Myles Mayhem being associated somehow with them because like Destro he only cares about profit. He would fit with them like a ring to a finger. Also VENOM needs a homage and who's better than his leader Myles Mayhem.
I would like to see too other M.A.S.K./VENOM characters being made for the Joe Anniversary toyline like Buddy Hawks, Cliff Dagger, Bruno Sheppard, Sly Rax, Alex Sector and Bruce Sato because their specialties makes them fit perfectly for the G.I.Joe and Cobra groups.
