How many cases of wave 4 do you think are rotting in some warehouse right now? They're probably making deals with TJ Maxx right now & we won't see them until next August.

It's all a part of the downward spiral of humanity you're forecasting, right? The post-holiday time is always slow for retail. If you want Wave 4 or any other highly sought after figures then your best bet is to go to BBTS or another online retailer.

Seriously, am I going to have to explain economics to you again...? The wave 4 product was produced to meet orders placed by the toy stores, with an expected overrun quantity, because they CAN sell off to second level outlets like Ross if needed. But this is never a "planned approach".
Profits are derived not just from making your money back, but how fast you make your money back. fter all, the number of internal staff and external support peole, equipment maintenance fees, new equipment purchases, paperwork, fuel costs, base plastics costs, dye costs, ad nauseum are all based on an immediate expenditure, and not on the hopes that some day they will be reimbursed. Therefore "planning" to not sell off toys while they are "hot" would be suicidal for a company that wants to stay in business. |

Seeing as how hardly any wave 4 cases made it to retail, and there are hardly any Sci-Fi's on ebay, and guessing how many of each figure was produced, how many cases would you guess are still rotting in warehouses all across the country? See? It's not really that difficult. Hundreds? Thousands? Millions? You don't see it? Seriously? You can't see it? You have to be blind, deaf & completely retarded not to see it. If this is the case, the worst part about it is Hasbro has a website in which they sell toys, to the consumer! We pay the shipping! For whatever salesman they have working so hard to get these in stores, they need harder working internal logistics guys to inventore these and put them on HTS! WTF?!

That doesn't really answer my question now does it? I asked a simple question & you assumed I meant something completely different. Here's a hint, the answer to the question is a number. Not an essay on the business practices of modern retail stores. What's odd to me is that you can go to HasbroToyShop.com and they would be sold out. But then months later that very same thing shows up at Ross and Marshall's. So it had to be sitting somewhere.
