They would have to start with the 1985 line for me to take interest. But seriously. I would rather have less GI JOE stuff to collect and be responsible for than more.

Amen! I couldn't believe someone actually approved those to be manufactured. I totally get the fun of them being designed identically to the original SW figures, but for what they charge for these figures they'd have to rival SideShow with articulation and accessories.
It's the same reason I refuse to buy *any* 4in movie/cartoon figures made by Mattel. $10 for a figure with, by today's standards, no articulation. I was looking forward to the Green Lantern movie figures until I saw how much articulation they lacked compared to *every* other 4in figure line. |

Not really. I think the o-ring would be weird at that size.
But I still really want a commemorative line of carded o-rings. I know I am alone in this. |

If done correctly, I would definitely be interested. I have several of the SW figures in that scale and the attention to detail is impressive.

I have some 12" from VvsV stuff. I've always liked 12 inchers. I would dig these too.

I assume you mean like the ones Mattel did with MOTU a few years ago. Essentially re-issues of older toys more or less indistinguishable from their vintage counterparts? I like those sorts of things. I think Rebelscum had a poll not too long ago asking after interest in a Star Wars sub-line that would be Kenner vintage style Star Wars action figures of characters never made by Kenner, like Grand Moff Tarkin, Uncle Owen, etc. I like to think I live at a happy medium between appreciation of both the new and the classic. Still, I'm sort of bummed out at the lack of interest expressed in the idea 'cause I think scaled-up ARAH Joes that size done like the Sideshow Star Wars would be pure unadulterated glory. Gunslingercbr would probably tell me I should have known better. Ah, well. Set my hopes up way too high.
