The stickers the planes come with are actually of good quality. All of mine applied perfectly, no lifting corners, etc. The problem is that you need to wipe down the plane with a cloth or a cloth with rubbing alcohol to get rid of the oil on the plastic. Otherwise the stickers have nothing to adhere to. No matter what the quality of sticker is, if there is oil on the surface of the plastic, it's not going to stick.

personley i would not recom. acoh. I biuld vintage rc cars and seen in the past what it will do to lexan, with is basicly just clear plastic Maybe a very watered down degreaser. I would try it heavy on one of the back of the damage panels fisrt. I just tryed it using just a soft towel only and so far so good . I'll keep everyone posted

If I ever open mine, I'm going to be using the aftermarket stickers that I buy from somebody (don't know who yet).
That way, I still have the original stickers all pretty and new (and unused)... and if the other stickers fall of or get damaged or whatever... it's not too big of a deal because they weren't the original stickers. |

yup, my hiss is exceptionally oily from mold release. soapy water works best though. alcohol might mess up the plastic.

Plastic seems to react differently depending on the type of plastic and the strength of the alc. Most of the time it will not damage plastic but dulling, cracking & warping have been discussed on other boards amongst customizers. It is always best to test in a hidden area as SUNSTQRM pointed out, you can also water down the iso alc. to dilute the strength. As an alternative, a bath in hot soapy water may be the safest way to go as noted by blzjoe.
