I recently had some people over (people who new I collected action figures) and was surprised at how awestruck they were when they went downstairs to see my collection. I know I have a pretty big collection, but always figured that there was probably one or two others collectors in my area that had larger collections (never seen them, just assumed.) So I am starting this thread to see just how my collection compares to others around the tank.
I have: 1187 GI Joe Figures (I don't army build) 24 Combat Heroes 6 GI Joe Mighty Muggs 254 Marvel Legends or Legend-like figures (Spiderman classics, Selects, etc) 91 Marvel 4" Universe or similar line figures figures (Showdown Squad, Wolverine Origins, etc) 12 Marvel Legend 12" Icons 26 MOTU 200x Figures 111 6" DC Figures (Classics or Classic-like Lines) 38 Transformers (All Classics or Classic-like lines) 33 Star Wars Figures (all bounty hunters and sith) |

You're about middle class when it comes to collection size. But even that to an average person who doesn't collect looks amazing when you have it all nice an organized.

I see what you mean on a spectrum from 100 joes to guest houses filled.
Beef though has a respectable number of Joes there at 1187. imo anyway |

I don't have much left of my ARAH collection left, maybe 30 figures. I have lots more stuff that I left at mom and dad's house but moving around with me while I'm in the Army are:
GI Joe 25th-30th figures: 412 Star Wars 2008 to present: 37 2002 Masters of the Universe: 32 Transformers: 1 (25th Anniv. Optimus Prime) Gotta keep my collection small and mobile - but I ignore that rule where my Joes are concerned ;D |

I haven't counted but if you were to include store and show stock I feel confident I would be respectable, although far from the top tier. Does stock count? If so, then I would think Kokomo or BBTS or someone like that would have the largest collection. Not sure?

Ask most women, it's not the size that matters most, it's how you use it.

According to Airedevon she has over 28,000 Joe figures. Not sure many can compete anywhere near that.
I'm currently at around 900 figures from 82-12.
