I agree wholeheartedly about the window boxes needing to go away and to stop putting stickers on my new toys! That's my job. I think the Stickers in the new Target Exclusives are probably their answer to thin crappy stickers. Had they just made them glossy, I would have been fine with them.
Now I want to point one thing out. Exclusives are usually repaints and done a little bit cheaper than mass released items. Also Like to point out that the only time we got filecards on the boxes and no stands for the figures (I can't tell you how grateful I am for not having more useless stands) is with Target exclusives. I'm willing to bet that we'll get no stands for the figures that come in the Ultimate Battle Pack too. Oh, also....back screws rule!!!! |

I'll pay extra for File cards inside and Stands. However if they didn't assemble them and did not sticker them they would save enough to almost offset the cost of the File cards and Stands.

back screws do indeed rule
saves customizers from repeatedly puncturing their flesh with screwdrivers trying to pry open 25th figures as for the target vehicles, they are good, figure stands would be great, but i love them anyway the sticker application on the trouble bubble was terrible, my only complaint on that issue |

i just hope the modern era line continues along side the movieline which i will wait to judge and decide to buy, i wont have a problem with the movie line as long as they only make 3 3/4 figs and vehicles, i hate when movie based toylines make like 100 diferent types of items, just keep it simple

I like the backscrews.
If the movie line of figures bomb and Hasbro decided to pull out of joe completely for a few more years, then joes that we love and don't have (dozens of them) would be alot easier to customize and make with figures we do have. Sab |

yes simple like the transformers movie line, thirty repaints of the same 10 figures that is a good way to keep it simple...........lol

What I don't understand is why doesn't Hasbro just make 1 mold of each movie character and the vehicles and be done with it?
Then keep the modern era going at the same time. Hasbro does repaints to get the necessary funds for tooling new molds and giving us new characters. I hope they rake in enough funds with the next 3 waves of repaints to properly fund their needs for new tooling. Because for half a year, they're not going to be raking in a whole lot of cash with the movie figures. Very, very few joe collectors have shown an interest for the movie line. So Hasbro should be counting on the movie doing well and lots of kids new to the game buying up the movie figures. Otherwise, the movie line is going to be a flop and I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro said the funding was not there to continue the modern era line due to poor sales of the movie line. Sab |

why would they do that, the modern era line is a smash hit because of hasbro's limited supplying of the figures, and the cost efficiency of having two characters of every wave be a repaint. they would be crazy to not continue the modern era line regardless of what the movie line does
