Just as a change from all the usual "Which figure sucked the most" threads.
What figure suprised you by being way better than expected? DVD pack Lady jaye is one for me,It came out way better than I ever thought it would, same goes for Copperhead. |

Torpedo and the Ninja Battle 5-Pack Snake Eyes.
I was blown away by the detail of Torpedo and the green pants of the Snake Eyes made me cringe at first but after I put him with my other Joes I like the way he matches them. It took him standing with other figures but now it's my fav. SE figure.

Ditto on the Jaye. I really like L. Jaye as it is but the head sculp was much much better.
I think the one that did it for me was Torpedo. I was shocked to see how much stuff he came with but on top of that it was a really well done figure. Good face sculpt and awsome mask/tank accessory.

I agree with Lady Jaye. That figure alone almost made that DVD pack worth the money. Copperhead is also a good choice, I really liked that figure as a kid and was very pleased with with how he turned out. I would also put the Viper up there. I might be in the minority with that one, but I think the Viper was a cool figure to open. I have to admit, I haven't really disliked any figures. I have a few gripes of course, but the detail on the figures now has impressed me. The holsters for pistols, sheaths for knives, and the gear give make these figures a lot of fun to collect for me.

For me it has to be destro. Destro from the DVD packs.
I had already swapped the comic head to the regular destro. and he looked cool. I was never a fan of destro as a kid in the first place. And i didnt care about the gold head IG destro. or the "upcoming" dvd destro. But when I saw it, I was just wow. The paint aps were so much just like the cartoon that it was jut perfect. I cant wait for shinny headed CC! |
