How do you store your 25th carded figures to keep them MOC without any damage? It was mentioned to me by a couple of helpful people here that said I could find the acrylic ones on wholesalecases.com. They do appear to be excellent but I was wondering if anyone here has used them at all, if so do you have a picture that you can show of what it looks like with a figure in it? Also, I was wondering if the rails in the case are made for the width of GI Joes. The reason I really want to know is it looks like a much cheaper way to keep them mint as opposed to AFA grading everything, and they look like the exact cases anyway. Thanks for the help in advance.

I've heard and seen people use the Star Wars Star Cases so i purchased a few sets from HasbroToyShop a couple of days ago, they were like $10 for 10 and i was able to use one of the coupons for free shipping to bring the cost down a bit. Missed out by a day on using the 25% code, which sucked. I should get them in the mail by the end of this week or early next.

ShadoViper thanks for the info. I seriously didn't even realize they sold them on Hasbrotoyshop.com, I think its because I am constantly refreshing the site daily to see if 25th anniversary figures are in ( :
About star-cases, I have seen many people use them and was thinking of doing the same for now but do you know if those can damage the card etc at all? |

I sized up the case that i have with some McQuarrie figures and they look like they'll match up perfectly and won't mess up the card. Other than that, i'm not too familiar with storing the figures to keep them out of harms way. Maybe a harder acrylic case which will cost a bit more. Edit: I tried to find the cases back on HTS but was unable to find them, looks like they removed them. "Star Wars Official Protective Cases (10-Pack)" ~ When i ordered them, it came with a free Star Wars IG-88 Saga Collection figure. Last edited by ShadoViper; 10-18-2007 at 04:20 PM.. |

Edit: The Star Cases are sold out until November, but I definitely recommend grabbing some when they're back in stock. Last edited by Compulsive Collector; 10-18-2007 at 04:29 PM.. |
