For some reason Hasbro decided to cancel this outstanding repaint of the DTC Cobra Hiss Tank back when the line was active. This Hiss would be a really good option for a 25th vehicle.

Man, that sucks. I'd really like to know why they cancelled it. But I agree with you, great option for 25th Anni.

I saw this on another website and they wanted 250.00 I think for it, since it was never released. It would have been cool to have another hiss tank but with so much talk about DTC surviving and also "another repaint" I think thwy shevled the idea. As for the Sting Raider, I noticed that they came out with the same vehicle for the 2.5 line. I think that is their last vehicle of this line and IMO this line was a waste since it took up so much space. Hopefully they will put out some vehicles for the 25th anniversary line (sooner or later).

Yeah, I'm real hopeful to see vehicles in this line. I guess we'll have to see how strong sales are against the 5 packs....or at least until the 'Con. All in all, although the Red HISS is super bad @ss, I'd much rather see a "new" vehicle for the 25th....like a HISS II |

This would be a good vehicle to use with the 25 Anv. line and so would a lot of other vehicles from the 2.5" line. In fact since most of those vehicles were originally intended to be made for 3.75" scale we may just see them released to supplement these new sculpt line of figures.
I certainly would love to add 3.75" scale versions of the Firebat and Street Razor to my COBRA arsenal. Maybe even a re-colored VAMP as a new COBRA Stinger. The only changes I'd like made to this version of the H.I.S.S. V is that the colors be inverted (black body paint with red camo stripes) and a pair of cannons to be included to provided an alterior weapons choice to the turret mounted missile pods. |

One notable change was the inclusion of a back hatch.
From what I've been told, this would have been our wave 4 vehicle, had the line continued as planned

this new Hiss was awesome, I loved the black one as it was the perfect update to the original
the hiss II though still remains my favorite mold , just wish they would have done it in the black to make it more classic |

If this had been made, I could have seen myself buying it for the sole purpose of replacing all that awful Green/gold parts on the first DTC HISS. Course that could have been Hasbro's plan from the start.
