Probably more like only 6-8 months. Wasn't it confirmed that there's some "modern" planned for early 2009 release? Besides the movie line will go faster than you think. If the toys don't sell, but I bet they will... I'm sure that Hasbro has plans in place to relaunch a successful line ahead of schedule.

Alternators are a dead horse, I'm afraid. Though the Binaltech figures seem to be making a mild return. But man, I'd love to see that series return as well.
Thing is, I think that even Hasbro was surprised by the TF movies success. So much so that they had to start with the repainted molds from movie and outside series figures sooner than planned. As for the classics, that was case of managing what three different toy lines at once...Something had to give, and the toyline with no movie or cartoon to sell it usually suffers the lag. Still, I'd hope they're better prepared this time around. |

Since the original run I thought Shooter was a man, heck I even thought Agent Delta from the DDP run was going to be Shooter, Then i read the declassified. She was awesome!! we need more female Joes!!

I'd like to see her...
But I still think it would have been cooler if Shooter turned out to be Agent Delta from WW3 |

I would definitely like to see a Shooter figure based on DD's take, or otherwise. We need this mysterious member of the original FOURteen.
Someone earlier commented that they should make Joe and Jane, and I think thats a great idea. My suggestion for them would be G.I. Joe, G.I. Jane and Sparks in a SRO three-pack. Who's with me? |

BTW, didn't they use the last of the elements doing that? That said, how did those guys get back, or did we really see a suicide mission on a kids show? |
