I have only seen wave 9 a few time at 2 different Walmarts.I have not seen them sense. If I do it is uaually the remains.I have seen reports of Walmarts getting in 4 to 5 caes of these. Our stores only get in one case at a time. Here is how bad it is,one Walmart only has one figure on the pegs(Cobra Commander)thats it and that has been like that for a month now.I have emailed Walmart and this particular store only to have a stockperson give me lip about "you should contect Hasbro".If it like this with wave 9 wave 10 is going to be a basterd to find.Execellent work Hasbro.I am going to take my digital carea out on Monday a take a few shots. This is just getting old.

I think it depends on the store. I live near a bunch of small town WM's and they rarely get anything and if they do it's only 1 case. Most of them also got rid of the pegs for comic packs since those were collecting dust like nobody's business.
There's one WM near me that had been getting restocked when it got low but here's the catch. A buddy of mine gets off work at 2:45am and looks for transformers. He said there's some guy that regularly stops in about the time he goes and has carried out the entire stock of Joes on multiple occasions. Oh well. I'll get my sleep, save gas and order online. |

These stores could care less about toys man. They dont make much on them.
I have the perfect solution for you. Pre-order all the waves off Entertainment Earth. You pay like $10 more (big deal) and you then you will get everything you need. Then if you find them in the stores its an added bonus. We can go around an around and aournd with complaints about these stupid retail stores. The fact of the matter is nothing is going to change no matter how much we complain. Retails dont make much off toys, nor is the toy department the main attraction at any store other than TRU. The employees dont care, the managers dont care, corporate doesnt care either. There are so many other ways to obtain these figures. Ebay, online toy retailers, trading, etc..... All the bitching about Target and Walmart is getting as old as all these lurkers popping up trying to trade a Black Suit CC for a Gold PDD. |

Different places different stories. My area in MD has been dry for 3 weeks now. Not just WMs, it has been all stores. Probably has more to do with the Clone Wars push than anything else.

Why would they sell a product, let alone an entire category of product, if they did not make money. |

True and not all Wal Marts suck. Ive been able to army build bats and snow serpents and find all waves at my walmarts. I have yet to pay more than 6.97 for a figure. |

Sad but true....Walmart is the leading "toy store" in the United States. I heard years ago Toys R Us was near filing Chapter 11. By the current state of KB and KB toy works (now closed)...you'd think they were the one going out of business. Walmart has been hit or miss for me on Joe's. Strange thing is my area just got a super Walmart and their toy section is half the size of the older walmart down the road.

It's the store distribution, that has the issues. I have 4 Targets(1 Super) & 6 Super WM's and they all get different amounts of stock and diffrent case assortments and not just with Joe, but with SW, ML and all the other action figure lines. Last Friday 1 WM just restocked heavily with wave 7, Saturday I went to another WM and they heavily restocked wave 9, went back to the wave 7 store and they had wave 9 also. Same with Target, just today saw DCUC figures at one store, with Joe wave 9 and no new SW. Checked 2 other Target's and neither had DCUC or wave 9, but had new SW. But I have found and bought everything released so far at retail and have found enough to troop build 7 of each builder released so far.
