Seriously, I started with the MASS device arc, and I love the Sarge. For that matter, how the hell do people appreciate a circus like CC, Destro, The Twins, Zartan, SE, complete with robots and superscience doomsday weapons, and then hate on the one guy on the show based (however loosely) on a real person?

Let me rephrase that, I started in '82 and still want them. I basically want everyone up to '86 with some from '87. I do NOT like BF2000 as i didn't then either.

I'd buy any figure that is based on the '82-'90 or '91 ARAH Joes (there are a tiny handful from '92-'94 that I want made). And I am not that much of a Slaughter fan but I like the figure and want him to be made. And I got my first Joe in '83 so I've been here from the start and still support a Slaughter figure.

Uhm...the Oktober Guard finished second only to the Iron Grenadiers as the most sought after Joeverse sub-group in a HissTank poll. The only reason we didn't get them in the mid-eighties was reluctance to market a "Real Soviet Hero" in the days of "Evil Empire" rhetoric.

I followed the cartoon series a lot closer than the comics, but some of the early comic characters like Dr. Venom, Kwinn, and, yes, Col. Brekhov and co. have more potential than the Sarge.

I'd almost rather have another M.A.S.K. figure than Sgt Slaffter. Like others said, his inclusion along with the likes of Serpentor, Zandar, Zarana and anything neon colored are what led me towards other toys besides the Joes back then.

It's a good idea. I would love to see Sgt. Slaughter being remade in 25th style. I want the V2 in a single card.
