I'm against...to me, the Sarge was part of the path that led to Serpentor, and after that to Cobra-La and the general decline of the original line.

For me, priority should go to filling out the remainder of the 82~85-86 figures, as well as the Oktober Guard.

Sarge I can kind of do without. I don't have an issue with him per se, but my dislike of wrestling probably clouds my judgment. Just too much of a larger than life character within the Joe verse. If he wasn't connected to wrestling and his whole celebrity persona was toned down, I wouldn't have any complaints at all.

I'm all for it. Buy his ass out for time immemorail + Give him a .001% of the profits and single card him and those of use that want him can buy him.

having a connection to wresting aside, you have to admit, the Sarge just looks cool...and is having a drill instructor really a bad idea?

I'm not really a fan of how the figure looks either. Maybe it's the mustache and tank top combination . . . Maybe if he was in BDU's it would help.

The Sarge sucked ,looked dumb, and got WAY too much screen time after he was introduced.

Maybe I was just young enough to accept him when he became part of the Joe universe, and I may be a part of a very small group, but I also liked Serpentor, and I also enjoyed Cobra La in the movie.

I know, flame me, but me and a close childhood friend grew up together on GI Joe, and all of that stuff was big for us back then, that even now, it still holds a certain degree of nostalgia that makes me want to collect even the overall despised stuff.

One Xmas, my friend got the Renegades pack, and I got the Cobra La pack, and we both had Slaughters, so I remember playing with those figures a ton. Good times, good times.

When he was first made I disliked the idea(and I even liked wrestling back then) but now I still wouldn't want to see another figure made. There are just some characters that shouldn't be included in the line.

I'd love to get the Sarge, but I agree with you, not until after a few as yet unmade figures are released. Eventually though.
