I know Hasbro says they check out fan forums, & this one's pretty prominent. So I've got a heck of a send-up to the fans I'd like to propose.
First something very important. I don't want this to be an 'easy-out' on negotiations with the holders of the rights to Sgt Slaughter's likeness. Hasbro needs to do a real single-carded (or packaged with the Triple T) Slaughter figure. Maybe this could be seen as something of an 'easter egg'. It goes something like this: Find an excuse to release parts (such as the hat, head, hands, etc.) just like Slaughter's in a product somewhere. To avoid legal issues on Hasbro trying to sneak in a 'build-a-figure' Slaughter without permission, this part will have to be an actual part for whatever's in the package rather than a bonus just thrown in. Serpentor's thighs with the appropriate Slaughter paint job on some new Heavy Duty figure for example. These thighs also just happen to be retooled slightly & match up perfectly with a set of Breaker lower legs on a Falcon figure. These lower legs have a paint job that perfectly match the Heavy Duty thighs. Etc., etc., until all parts are out & match up together. It means a lot of spending on a lot of figures with a lot of left-over parts. Few people would actually build the Slaughter I'm sure, but I bet a lot of people would buy all the figures it took to do it. & it'd be neat just to know it's possible.

Sgt slaughter was a one trick pony for the wwf. I said it 22 years ago and I say it now: lame. Football on a stick lame.

I have to agree with the others that is a bit of a stretch for Hasbro and us to do all that.

They could release him as "Sgt. Slaughterhouse" i.e. Dataframe, & give him a chainsaw, thereby making all likeness issues void. MAybe even throw in a steak & a bib.
