Anyone else get an email from BBTS this morning?

I just got an email stating Hasbro has canceled their orders to BBTS for the Wave 9 case and that they would be swapping them for the Revision 1 cse with Sgt. Flash and Bludd. I have yet to recieve any pre orders from them in the past 4 months. If they do ever ship my basement will look like a hoard as I have already picked up all I needed for Wave 9.

Did the email say anything else about when that Revision might be shipping, etc?

Here is the email.

Hi - Hasbro has just informed us that they have cancelled the rest of our order for the Wave 9 assortment that you have on preorder with us. They are not producing any extra product and they are keeping allocation very tight on these items, so our orders are not being filled to completion. We will need to convert your order to the Wave 9 - Revision 1 case - this change will be made later today. This case contains the same wave 9 set of 6 figures as the case you have on order, but the extra Wild Bill and Torpedo figures will be replaced with Flash and Major Bludd. Many of you already have preorders in for the Wave 9 - Revision 1 case. We would appreciate it if you would cancel your duplicate preorder, this way there are less cases to fill and there is a better chance that we can fill all orders. Thanks for your patience - we are limiting the number of preorders accepted on all future waves so this situation can be avoided in the future.

wonder if this affects singles, i have an order for some b.a.t.s waiting to be filled. they just shipped my snow serpents yesterdsay.

I received this email, and it is disappointing as I will have to wait for Wave 9 even longer. I originally ordered the Internet Exclusive Wave 9 case (early enough that I would have received it), but later decided I'd rather have the Torpedo and Wild Bill on new cards, which I then preordered in early June. Now I won't even be getting that. Oh well, I guess that's what I get for changing my mind late in the process and refusing to go out hunting.

That's a key bit of information there. It explains why their pre-orders for new waves have been selling out so quickly.

I'm wondering whats up with my bbts orders. I had the latest comic packs on order as soon as they went up back in February and they have not shipped (while others that ordered at the same time or later have received theirs.) I also have Snow Serpents on order, placed the day they went up on their site, but they still have not shipped. Hmmm....

So, for the last 4 waves Hasbro has been promising to increase production numbers to satisfy collectors, but the first wave where the numbers are supposed to be increased they "are not producing any extra product and...are keeping allocation very tight on these items".

Does there seem to be a contradiction there? Doesn't Hasbro realize that there is a high demand for these items, and it would be in their best interests to produce a higher volume as they promised?

One local (Calgary) store ordered 60 cases of Wave 9 and got 4 in. They couldn't even fill all the orders they had for holds, and now I'm worried that the other 56 expected this week won't be arriving because of Hasbro's "tight allocation" (Who cares about a city of 1.3 million potential customers anyways?).

Does anyone else feel disgusted by this news?
